| Iphone 12 (ios 14.5.1) pink flickering Posted: 16 May 2021 12:02 AM PDT My iphone screen in safari sometimes turns certain items pink before flickering back to gray. So far, this happens in darkmode only. The top part of the keyboard when clicked turns a bit pink and the header (siri suggested, google search, and switch tab) in safari turns pink too. I noticed this in safari only so far but there was a time my screen (i dont know what application was open or if it was the homepage) turned all the whites a light pink and then turned back in a matter of seconds. I did a restart and a factory reset already. Does anyone know what the reason for this is? Im really worried since this phone is barely 2 months old and was bought overseas. The local apple retailers might not entertain or honor the warranty and I bought this with the idea of longevity in mind so buying a new one is out of the question for now. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 15 May 2021 05:56 PM PDT Model: iPhone 12 Pro Max i noticed that my iphone is ghost touching when charged, and only when charged. i searched for some fixes and one of the few i tried was restarting/force restarting my iphone. but when the phone is booting up, the apple logo flickers. as if it appears then disappears very quickly. i had to release volume and power button and do it again, but it flickers again. fortunately, the third try, it didnt flicker and it booted up. what could be the problem? any help would be appreciated :D [link] [comments]  |

After it just never turned on and is stuck on the white apple screen and occasionally switches from this screen to black, also i have tried to shut it off but it doesn't work. What do i do to fix it? | iCloud backup taking up a lot of space Posted: 15 May 2021 02:53 PM PDT Hello All, I have iCloud photos enabled as well as iCloud backup enabled. In my iCloud storage, I see photos taking 50GB and another section for iCloud backup taking 50GB. From what I understand, iCloud backup does not include photos with this configuration. | One album in Music app not showing all of its songs Posted: 15 May 2021 08:21 PM PDT For some reason, one of my albums has glitched out and a majority of the songs are not showing up when I view the album. They are still on the phone, and if I search for them, I can see them and play them, but viewing the album itself, all the songs from A through R are missing, and the album starts at S and continues down to Z. There's supposed to be 195 songs in this album but only the bottom 48 are showing. I even tried removing the album from my phone, then re-syncing it....nope, same problem, only 48 out of 195 songs are showing. iTunes shows that it is syncing 195 songs, and yet, when I view the album on my phone, it only shows 48. Rebooting the phone didn't work, killing and re-launching the Music app didn't work, syncing with iTunes didn't work. What's going on here? I've never had an album glitch out like this before. | iPhone SE 2020 not receiving iMessages on my home WiFi Posted: 15 May 2021 06:12 PM PDT I've noticed that occasionally, incoming iMessages don't get delivered to my phone. Usually it's my gf texting me, and she has to DM me on another app to tell me her messages aren't going through. I used to have a similar issue with phone calls, where they would randomly drop out in my house, but then I started using WiFi calling and that issue seems to have gotten better (?) but I'm not 100% that fixed it. It's weird because my WiFi is perfectly fine, I've been playing online games and browsing YouTube the last few hours and my gf was trying to text me during that time, and a portion of her texts weren't making it to my phone. After turning my phone off and on the messages delivered, but other than that I don't know what could possibly be causing this. SENDING iMessages seems to be fine, although they occasionally take longer than usual to deliver, but I've never had a problem where somebody wasn't receiving my texts, it's only incoming messages that have this problem. | Anyone having issues with over exposure on iPhone 12 Pro Max? Posted: 15 May 2021 02:59 PM PDT I got the iPhone 12 Pro Max at launch from an Apple Store in Canada. From day one, it was pretty bad with exposure. I switched for an iPhone X and compared images from both devices; the 12 pro max was over exposed and over saturated on 90% of shots. Nighttime or day, indoors or outside, anything captured on the main camera would be over exposed and over saturated. I dug into camera settings and there wasn't anything I found to keep exposure at normal levels. When I tap to focus exposure gets corrected but once a lighter surface, like a white wall, comes into view the image gets pretty bad again. It got better after a few updates but with 14.5 the issue is back. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 15 May 2021 11:13 AM PDT I have an iPhone 6s(yes it's old but I normally have no problem & too poor to care abt having the most up to date phone) we are at a hotel for the weekend which has several different public WiFi connections throughout the hotel - not the kind you have to accept terms or log in, just straight up public WiFi. I connect to all of them no problem except for the one that works in our room (just my luck). I try to connect and get an error saying "unable to join network'network name'" it's not as if it connects and kicks me off it won't connect at all. And like I said I connect to every other network in the building without problem. I thought maybe they had a router issue but my husband's android connects without issue to the same network. I've been googling resolutions- tried resetting network connection, turn location off, airplane mode, restarting phone, switching private WiFi off - everything short of wiping my entire phone which I REALLY don't want to do (not worth the hassle) does anyone have any other suggestions? I don't know much about this stuff but for some reason I'm thinking it's some sort of security setting but I know nothing so I'm probably wrong. But it's driving me insane. Any suggestions? | Phone Screen, Touch Assist Unresponsive & Screen Frozen. Posted: 15 May 2021 07:05 AM PDT What can I do to unfreeze my phone? iPhone SE 1st Gen running iOS14.5.1, backed up this morning. Purchased Nov 2017, refurbished from UK Apple Store - Apple Care has expired iPhone screen is unresponsive and Touch Assist has stopped responding as I was commenting on a Reddit post using Apollo app. ON/OFF Button hasn't worked for a long time(years) and since Touch Assist isn't responsive I can't force restart. Home Button will only activate Siri - can't get Siri to restart the phone though. I used Apple Pay yesterday but not tried it today since this happened. Phone is almost completely frozen - some notifications are still coming through and I can swipe up to clear them albeit they go away slowly, but I cannot navigate to any screen as it doesn't respond to my fingers swiping at all. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened with the phone, it's mostly stationary in my bag or on my desk. [link] [comments]  |

But I'm having a horrible time having the setup thing see my face. I get my face in the square brackets, and then start moving my head in a circle, and it says my face has moved out of the brackets, and snaps it back to the square brackets again. Over and over! I do not remember it being this difficult to set up the first time! I checked and my trudepth camera is working. I turned the phone on and off. What else can I try? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 15 May 2021 03:24 AM PDT I have an iPhone 6, and I just bought a 6S. I did an iTunes backup on the 6, and then restored that backup onto the 6S. The number of pictures, videos, notes, and reminders that were restored on the 6s matches what is on the 6. Some of the reminders are out of order and things like that, but the number of them is the same. When I look at the storage, the amount of space being used up by photos, videos, etc is different, is this because they are different models using different operating systems? Is there anything else I should check on the 6S to confirm the restore was properly done? Is there anything else I should check on it to make sure it works properly, before I get a new battery installed? Thank you very much. [link] [comments]  |
