    iPhone 7 Plus (iOS 13) has just deleted 50gbs of music and, as a result, playlists I've made for a decade.... by itself

    Wondering if anyone else has had this issue: I was running at nearly full storage capacity for a little while. I had been deleting things to make space for new things - that kind of "almost no space left." Today, I went to listen to some music in the iOS music app, and there was nothing there. None of the 30+ playlists I have created over years and years, and none of the almost fifty gigs of downloaded-from-my-computer, not bought from apple music files. I don't use Apple Music. While I have the files on my laptop, I've been slowly adding them to my phone for so long that I wouldn't even know where to start to begin again.

    There wasn't any event I can remember in the last few days that would have caused this, and I certainly did not tell the phone to do it myself. A look at the storage management part of Settings shows all that space now free. Restarting the phone has no effect. I haven't connected to a computer yet out of fear that if the phone orphaned all the files (somehow) or corrupted the library or something that it will be irreversible.

    Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? Am I just screwed? Why me? etc

    iPhone 12 Mini App Store Requiring password every time I try to download something.... How can I turn this off?

    I thought I turned this off and searched online but it ain't working. I'm getting really frustrated. Every time I want to download something - even free things like Instagram, Facebook, etc. - it wants me to put in my password. It's getting really annoying. Even if I try download 2 things within 3 minutes of each other it requires the password. How can I turn this horribly annoying feature off??

    keep getting this error when trying to activate iMessage after a while of switching on and off it just buffers on my number, (I have recently switched out my SIM card a few times if that helps) but usually my iMessage reactivates straight away.

    I wish there was a feature where you could set the time you want your texts to send to someone.

    I tend to stay up late, and sometimes I really want to show my friends something, or I remember that I have a question to ask someone and it's really late at night. But doing so at the time would probably wake them up, and I'll likely forget if I wait—it'd be cool if I could set a time for the text to be sent, or maybe be able to have them get notified silently.

    I wanted to share to see what people think bc I suspect this could just be a me problem.

    New iPhone 12, 14.5.1 battery drains faster than usual

    I got the 12 a few weeks ago. My battery life seemed fine when I got it, but after updating to 14.5.1 the battery life has been pretty subpar. I'm not really using that many apps. Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue? And is there a fix coming out?

    Maximum battery capacity back to 100%

    I've had an 11 pro since launch. Every few months I'll check on the battery capacity. Last I checked it was at 93%, but today it was back to 100%. How is that possible?

    SE 2020 Reminders App not Updated

    My boyfriend recently got the iPhone 12 mini and has the new reminders app in which you can share lists. I have the iPhone SE 2020 and just recently updated to IOS 14.5 but have not been able to update my reminders. I have tried YouTube videos and Google searches but can't find anything! Anyone else had this or have any ideas on how to update the reminders app? When I log into I cloud I can share lists on there and on my iPad just not my phone.

    Home screen widgets

    I just switched back to an iPhone 12 after being on Android for the the past two years. I'm trying to understand how these widgets work in ios14.

    My current home screen has 3 dots (pages). However to the left of my default page is a page dedicated to widgets. I'm not sure what Apple calls that. When I edit this page, and click the little plus sign at the top left, I'm missing widgets for many of my apps that I want to add widgets for. For example, Dark Dky weather. However, if I edit this page, and scroll all the way to the bottom, there's a customize button that if I click on, there are then more widgets that I can add, including Dark Sky. But these widgets seem to be stuck on this page. I cannot move them and any widgets I add using the plus sign cannot be below the other widgets I added using the customize menu.

    What's the deal? I'm super confused as to why certain widgets are available on some pages but not others. I'm glad Apple finally added widgets to their OS but they've got some work to do. Coming from an Android it's very frustrating.

    Iphone 6s+ (IOS 14.5) Stuck at Press Home To Upgrade

    When I charge my phone at night and woke up the next day I have found my phone showing a white screen with the words "Press Home To Upgrade" at the bottom of it, the problem with this is my home button is broken for quite a while now so I look up alternative ways on how to bypass it online. In addition to having a broken home button, I also have a cheap charger I bought online that can only charge my phone and not send data through my phone to my laptop. I tried different methods to see if I could bypass it like changing the sim card, removing the battery cable and reconnecting it again, and waiting for my battery to drain and charge it again to no avail. I can't really go to a repair shop to have someone fix it because of covid guidelines in my country.

    If you change an iMessage reaction, does it send an updated notification to the person?

    I would fully expect so but curious if anyone can confirm. For example, if I "like" a message but then hours later change the reaction to a "love" (heart), will it send a fresh notification to the recipient?

    How do I remove iCloud tabs that keep coming back?

    I got a new phone and for whatever reason my iCloud tabs from my iPad and MacBook show up on my phone even after I swipe to delete them. There are over 60 iCloud tabs from searches that occurred way back…. Like in early 2020.

    Both my iPad and MacBook show the correct iCloud tabs respective of each other and I've already wiped all safari data from all three devices and even logged out of iCloud on my iPhone to see if it would fix the problem but it hasn't.

    iOS 14.5 Podcast app bug. If you tap the ... menu on a episode in your Downloads library, the menu flips upside down / inverts depending on if you tap an episode towards the top of the list of episodes vs. one near the bottom of the list.

    iPhone Update vs. Instagram

    So after iOS 14,5 being released, does this mean I can start using Instagram again without Facebook spying on me and tracking my data & behaviour? I also seem to get the popup asking whether apps can track me but it never pops up when I open Instagram.

    Can't download app

    I have iOS 14.5, and I'm trying to download google chrome, but when I try, it says I need iOS 12.2 or newer (It's in spanish so I've roughly translated it) any idea what could be the problem? It's an Iphone 7

    Need some help with the Music app

    I have all my songs on my PC, I have them all on the iTunes app so i can sync them easily to my phone, But i noticed that some songs grey out and I can't listen to them anymore, telling me it's not available in my country or region (these songs are from my library and i don't have an Apple Music subscription), every time I sync the songs start working again, but some other songs get greyed out instead, can anyone please help me? I'm using an iPhone Xs Max with the latest software

    My photos app says iCloud storage is full but it isn’t

    Has anyone else had this issue. For weeks my iPhone 12 on the latest iOS says unable to back up 300 photos storage full. I checked in settings and I have 35 gigabytes left of paid storage. No matter how many times I restart the phone it won't back up any new images.

    Anyone else having issues with your iPhone searching for cellular on iOS 14.5.1

    I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and the other day my iPhone, just out of the blue, started to just lose cellular connection and constantly searching for a cell signal, I did all of the steps, resetting network settings, soft reboot, toggle Airplane mode on and off, restoring my iPhone resolved the problem, however the issue returns shortly after, on top of this, my iPhone constantly freezes, especially when I launch into settings, it often takes a while to load and going into the cellular menu, it's just a blank page, control center also takes a while to load. I went as far as going to my local Apple Store to get this issue resolved, they gave me a replacement iPhone and a new SIM, however the problem STILL persists! Now I'm thinking that this is a bug in the software, it just HAS to be! I've been on 14.5.1 since last week, but this issue like I said just started happening a couple days ago! Is anyone dealing with this issue too! I'd like to hear your feedback!
