    Hello Jailbreak Community!

    Today we are announcing something very special that is still in development, but will be a completely new approach to jailbreaking. We present Project Manticore, a software-making project which has a Jailbreak (with the same name) as its main contender.

    So what makes Manticore different from other Jailbreaks?

    1. Completely OpenSource - Manticore is going to be Free Open Source Software from the moment of release, and will continue to be during its existence. All development after the public release will be made with the community in mind, mainly taking place in GitHub discussions and other public communication mediums. We want to make sure that it's 100% transparent and that you, the user, have the power.
    2. Completely flexible - Manticore will support migration from all the current known jailbreaks (Taurine, Odyssey and unc0ver) in a smooth way. It will use the Procursus bootstrap and let you pick between the three most known package managers, Cydia, Sileo and Zebra!
    3. Modern Compatibility - Manticore will support iOS 14.0 through 14.3. Support for older/newer versions is planned in the future.
    4. Manticore Utilities - Besides the Manticore Jailbreak, another Development team is working on CheatManager, a on-device Game Cheat utility. It allows you to share, create and publish cheats for mobile games. Creating said cheats has never been easier before. With given Tools, like Unity Utils, Frida-based tools, Memory Editing, Function hooking, disassembly and much more, CheatManager is a completely new and flexible way for mobile cheating. (We don't endorse any kind of piracy, and CheatManager will be configured only to work with Games, and not as a piracy toolchain)

    [Update] AutoTSS - A Discord bot that automatically saves SHSH blobs for all of your iOS devices (more info in post)

    bit overdue, but better late than never i guess.

    Changelog:

    • AutoTSS is now a verified Discord bot, so it's now no longer limited to 100 Discord servers.
    • Fixed an issue where saving blobs for newly released iOS versions wouldn't work for a few hours after they were released.
    • Fixed an issue where valid board configs were wrongly reported as invalid, which blocked certain devices from being added.

    Couple of notes:

    • There is a limit of 10 devices per user.
    • You must be in a server with AutoTSS, or your devices & blobs will be deleted. This does not have to be the same server that you added your devices to AutoTSS in.
      • I recommend creating your own Discord server and inviting AutoTSS to it, so in the off chance that you're no longer sharing any servers with AutoTSS (whether you get kicked, banned, accidentally leave, etc.), you'll still be sharing a server with AutoTSS and your blobs won't be deleted.
    • Blobs are automatically saved every 30 minutes.

    [TIP] set your APNonce NOW while jailbroken. Even if you don’t intend to use FutureRestore

    If you save shsh blobs and if you have blobs for 14.3 you should set your APNonce to match your generator now while jailbroken even if you don't intend to use FutureRestore. One day something might happen and you lose your jailbreak or get stuck in recovery or a boot loop, your APNonce is already set and you're ready to use FutureRestore.

    First thing's first I recommend making a backup in case anything does happen in the future. So first restore RootFS then make a backup to through iTunes.

    Now here's how to set your APNonce to match your blobs generator.

    To do this you will need to 1. install dimentio from https://repo.1conan.com and 2. New Term 2 from https://repo.chariz.com

    Now save your blob from either https://tsssaver.1conan.com/v2/ or https://shsh.host then open your blob with a text editor and search for "generator" then copy that 18 digit code starting with 0x

    then open New Term and type "su" hit enter then your password and hit enter again, then type "dimentio (paste your generator here)" and hit enter.

    That's it.

    [Tip] Tweaks to significantly improve battery life

    Puck: Will put your phone into a hibernation state everytime you activate it (use the cc toggle), you can still receive calls and alarms will work if you activate it in settings.

    Use it when you won't use your phone for more than 1 hour

    This is a seamless implementation of PIP for the YouTube app, made possible with [[ForceInPicture]] and [[YouPIP]] from the PoomSmart repo. These work extremely well for the most part aside from a few bugs here and there but one thing that's particularly inconvenient to me is that I would have to tap the PIP icon for the feature to work. It would be great if a dev can take this on and create a tweak that would do pretty much the same thing demonstrated in the video without requiring the user to tap the PIP icon every time they watch a new video. Also I wouldn't mind paying for this!

    If anyone else is going crazy wondering what tweak caused the issue or if unc0ver was causing cellular issues and you're in Ontario the cell service is down currently and they're working on bringing it back. I was experiencing issues since Sunday and found the issue today.

    EDIT: Apparently this is a widespread issue intermittently affecting ALL carriers Nationwide.

    [Discussion] Major issue that no one seems to be concerned about - COVID passport apps not working with jailbroken devices

    I am fully vaccinated, yet I cannot use the New York State COVID vaccination app. Even when I enter non-jailbroken mode after a full reboot, it still detects my jailbreak.

    Is there anything we can do? The actual vaccination card is too big to even fit in a wallet and an app is so much more convenient.

    Edit: For anyone looking for the answer, this has been solved. There is a dedicated tweak for the NYS Excelsior Wallet app.

    [Request] “Find on page” in any app

    Hey jb community, sorry to be a pain. I was wondering if there's a tweak out there which would allow me to place app icons anywhere on my screen, I believe back in the day there was a tweak called gridlock I may be wrong.

    I'm having trouble trying to get a clean setup with xen as I can't place my icons in the widget trays. I'm able to scale my icons and move then on x-y axis perfectly fine but I can't find a tweak that allows me to place them anywhere

    I'm on Xr iOS 14 uO Please let me know if there's a tweak available to do so
