I published my first macOS app this week: It lets you learn cool things about Unicode!

    Posted: 17 Apr 2021 11:03 PM PDT

    Hey, /r/Apple!

I'm excited to share that I finally published my first app on the Mac App Store this week! It's called Uniview - Character Inspector, a free tool for Developers and anyone who wants to learn a bit about how the text they type works.

For example, did you know that every Skin Tone Emoji 🤘🏾🤘🏽🤘🏼🤘🏻 is actually just the regular yellow emoji 🤘 followed by an invisible "Skin Tone Modifier"? Well, Uniview will gladly teach you that, as well as reveal a little secret about how flag emojis work! Clicking on a character will bring you to a site where you can learn more about each character, too!

You can check it out out via my website or directly on the App Store for macOS 11 Big Sur or later, for free! Any feedback is welcome!

I would like some feedback on my free workout tracker I have been building in my spare time.

    Posted: 18 Apr 2021 12:22 AM PDT

Hello, I have been creating a free workout tracker in my Spare time for several months using SwiftUI provided by Apple. It also has integration with HealthKit and I have plans in the future to support Apple Watch.

One of my favourite features is the ability to share routines with friends by long pressing a routine you have created (looking to improve this because it's not obvious). the routine can be shared with a friend and no data is stored remotely because complete privacy was always something I wanted to achieve.

I am currently working on schedules and have plans to support supersets in the future.

Anyways any feedback would be great 🙏

Looking for feedback on my apps

    Posted: 17 Apr 2021 10:57 PM PDT

    My apps: https://apps.apple.com/us/developer/daniel-springer/id1402417666

I'm looking for ideas to improve my apps. I've spent a lot of time playing around with them, but outside eyes will always catch more. What would you add/improve?

    Quick rundown of my apps:

Prime: simply enough, lets you check if a number is prime, and related actions.

Guess: a set of mini games where the app guesses a number you think of.

ColorFull: dev oriented, lets you generate, edit, and save colors, as HEX or RGB, copy, paste, random, etc.

    Thanks!
