    Hey Reddit,

    I am happy to announce my own tweak for the YouTube app.

    Why use your tweak instead of others? I tried to make it as lightweight as possible, with only a minimal amount of very simple hooks. No gimmicks and bloat. Also, you can always look at the source code and see if it does anything malicious.

    [Discussion] Futurerestore Tips for iPhone X 13.7 (Checkra1n) users Moving to 14.3 with saved blobs

    Today was a very long and painful day for me, but thankfully, it ended with a reward. An iPhone X on 14.3 Fully Jailbroken.

    Background: iPhone X Global on 13.7 jailbroken via checkra1n.

    Note: futureRestoring implies you are going to wipe the phone and install a fresh 14.3 OS on it.

    Some tips that may or may not be useful for you: 1) (very very very important!!) ensure you are using the CORRECT futureRestore file when restoring to 14.3. This will save you sooo meany headaches and frustration. (Windows users: https://github.com/opa334/futurerestore/releases/latest )

    2) Assuming you're using the futurerestore.exe from Point #1, contrary to what some reddit users said on other threads, you cannot use the --latest SEP or --latest baseband command, even though technically they are compatible with 14.4. You have to manually specify the baseband and SEP.

    3) You can go, and I recommend going, straight from a jailbroken state (i.e. 13.7) to 14.3. You don't have to rootfs and remove the jailbreak first. In fact, I recommend it because you have to set the nonce before you jailbreak.

    4) for checkra1n jailbroken devices, go here: https://halo-michael.github.io/en_US/ , add that repo to your Cydia from the website, and the search and install nonce setter. Open the once setter app and set the nonce to 0x1111111111111111. After this, assuming you have all your files ready, you are ready to run the futureRestore command.

    5) After downloading your blobs from wherever you have it saved (I always saved them with TSSSaver so: https://tsssaver.1conan.com/v2/), there are 2 SHSH blobs saved in the 14.3 folder. Open both of the files with a notepad/wordpad editor and search 'generator' and use the SHSH blob that has the generator set to 0x1111111111111111. In case you are confused as to which SHSH file to use when futureRestoring

    6) use this guide to futureRestore in windows: https://gist.github.com/TheRealKeto/7c5191c7495fb750e79f8ce0f0cdcdaa

    7) make sure you add spaces between each command and between each file that you drag into the command prompt (i.e your final command should look like this: [futureRestore.exe] -t [Your SHSH blob] -s [SEP] -b [Baseband] -p [BuildmManifest] -m [BuildManifest] [14.3IPSW]

    8) The phone is going to go into recovery mode and then you're going to get an error saying it could not go into recovery mode. Don't panic! running the same command again and it should work the 2nd time (just press the up arrow key in command prompt to pull up the command you just ran)

    9) ensure your phone is plugged into a USB hub that is directly on the motherboard. this may or may not cause problems if you have the phone connected through a USB hub.

    10) ensure you are using USB-A to lightning cable (not USB-C to lightning cable)

    11) ensure you using the correct baseband (I believe intel modem phones use the 'ice' prefix and Qualcomm (i.e. Verizon) use the 'mav' prefix.(https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/lrgar6/tutorial_updating_an_a12_device_to_143_with/)

    There are probably others but if I had known every single one of these things above -- I could've had my phone jailbroken in 20 minutes instead of the 6 hours I spent on it :). (I may add some more as the days go by)

    [Discussion] Don't be afraid to futurerestore to iOS 14 with an A12X device if you have blobs. Upgraded my iPad Pro 3 (11-inch, WiFi) on 13.5 with unc0ver JB to 14.3 on Windows 10 utilizing 14.4 SEP/Manifest. I haven't heard a lot mentioned about A12X, so wanted to share my knowledge that it works.

    In case you are like me and willing to take risks to see if tweaks works (some still labelled working up to iOS13) and then finding out it doesn't.

    My original plan was hoping to hard reset into normal state and then re-running unc0ver unchecking the 'load tweaks' and then back to cydia to uninstall the problem tweak.... problem is, with it unchecked, the tweaks still loads and causing looping crash.

    u/_pwn20wnd can we get a fix for this please, I think there are probably others who are relying on this unchecked option get out of a sticky situation!

    So after reading a lot of comments and help post here on reddit, on GitHub and Googling, I just need to know, because I refuse to accept it but it's the likely of all this.

    So in my XS Max, 13.5 I tought I was properly saving my blobs with blobsaver, since I started using it, I only did "read from device" once or twice, and though ApNonce would never change or that it would be saved somehow, I even used the presets feature blobsaver has to "save" my ECID and ApNonce, everytime I wanted to save blobs I just clicked "preset 1" and the ECID and ApNonce was loaded, then proceded to save blobs, even saved 14.3RC just one daw before it was unsigned, even updated my iPad Pro to wait for a jailbreak.

    Anyway, the thing is, aparently blobsaved doesn't specify a nonce generator (not that I was that aware I needed it anywa, I though blobsaver would save it) only to found at this precise time it left the genearon blank and put a "noNonce" line in the blob file. I thought it would have to work anyway, been reading I just need to specify the generator on the blob file, and since I was using unc0ver when I saved the blobs it was just a matter to make some lines on the blob file and write down the unc0ver generator 0x1(16) because to my knowledge, that was the generator most likely blobsaver would have used. So all my blobs have "noApnonce", and when checked to shsh.host they mark them as valid (except for 14.3 but I think the error is because it was saved to 14.3RC and not just 14.3) and gives me an ApNonce my phone no loger has, and I get the "Device ApNonce does not match APTicket nonce" in Future Restore, so at this point I just need confirmation that updating to 14.3 is not going to work, or I just don't see where the problem is.

    Any help is appreciated.

    This launcher is now available on Procursus repo, again thanks to u/T0XicGreif3r (this update might not available yet, that's why I delayed for posting this), so you should download manually, here is download link manually.

    Changes

    • Added a place to customize JVM Flags, by create and edit minecraft/overrideargs.txt file.
    • Changed buttons offset for avoiding notch cutout on iPhone X and newer.
    • Forge 1.13+ (not all) and Fabric API are now supported.
    • launcher_profiles.json is now automatically created.
    • Minecraft 1.6.1 to 1.13.2 are now playable
    • Minecraft 1.5.2 and below can be launchable if you have X11 libraries installed with a X11 server (could be Mocha X11 available on App Store, XServer XSDL for Android or Xming/VcxSrv/etc... on PC or other) only on test environment since I haven't provided a place to change DISPLAY environment variable.
    • Mojang authentication was re-written, so it should work now.

    Fixes

    • Fixed random crashes occur while Minecraft is initializing.

    Known issues

    • Several Forge versions won't work due to removed deprecated classes (see #67 and #68).
    • Text input will not work on 1.12.2 and below.

    A note for old iDevices

    • If your device has only 1GB RAM (total), it might able to boot Minecraft to main screen, but might not able to join worlds due to too few RAM. Higher RAM can be set, but I'm unsure if iOS 12 will gives enough free RAM.

    Hello everyone,

    SmartNetwork 2 is now live, written from scratch to support iOS 14 and brining tons of new features:

    SmartNetwork 2 doesn't depend on activator anymore, in order to activate Favorite WiFi just press volume up and down in a sequential order.

    BT Connect: get a list of nearby bluetooth devices by simply tapping and holding the status bar, you can easily connect to your favorite bluetooth device from there.

    Safe Bluetooth: bypass lockscreen passcode when your favorite bluetooth device is connected! You get to choose and specify up to 3 favorites bluetooth devices.

    As for new users here's the full list of features:

    SmartNetwork 2 is here! Built upon the success of SmartNetwork, this is a more redefined version bringing a lot of exciting new features and built fully to support iOS 14 and new devices.

    SmartNetwork is 2 split into two parts ! Once downloaded you get an app + tweak, an app called WiFiList that fetches all known connected networks and fetches the password for them, on a click of a button on the field you can easily share the password, have you ever went to work or someone's place and they enter the wifi password manually instead of giving it to you ? Well WiFiList fetches this password, in fact it fetches the passwords of all connected networks, once clicked on the cell you can share the password via social apps, copy or even print it.

    Second part is the tweak, this is where it gets interesting here's the features :
    -Choose to get notified from a list of selected apps with a notification when an app is launched on Mobile Data (very important if by mistake you switched the mobile data and you launched data intensive apps like netflix or youtube to prevent data consumption)

    -Choose to get notified from a list of selected apps when WiFi gets disconnected and you start to consume from your Mobile Data (very important if you are streaming series or videos and WiFi gets disconnected you'll get notified immediately to prevent data consumption)
    -Stop selected apps from launching when on mobile data (prevent data consumption)
    -Stop selected apps from using WiFi.
    -Stop selected apps from using internet.
    -Enable WiFi booster : boost WiFi signals by removing limitations imposed by iOS.
    -Disable Background data : disable the use of mobile data when apps are in background.
    -Turn off mobile data once the device is locked and turn it back on when unlocked.
    -Turn off WiFi once the device is locked and turn it back on when unlocked.
    -Disable Mobile Data in low power mode.
    -Smart Switch (one of my favorites) : Disable WiFi and switch to mobile data when WiFi coverage is low (1bar) and connect back to WiFi when coverage is 2 bars and more.
    -Auto Switch (turn off mobile data when WiFi is connected and enable it back when it disconnects)
    -Safe WiFi : allows you to unlock the phone without password or face id / touch id if you are connected to a safe wifi you select ! Very important and convenient when connected on your home or office WiFi, password needs to inputted once then it gets stored encrypted, locally on device.
    -WiFi Notify : get a notification when connected to a WiFi network and when disconnected.
    -Favorite WiFi: Choose your favorite WiFi and set it up, you can trigger it by pressing volume up + down in a sequential order, once triggered, you automatically connect to that Favorite WiFi if it's in range.
    BT Connect: get a list of nearby bluetooth devices by simply tapping and holding the status bar, you can easily connect to your favorite bluetooth device from there.
    Safe Bluetooth: bypass lockscreen passcode when your favorite bluetooth device is connected! You get to choose and specify up to 3 favorites bluetooth devices.

    Jailbreak worked on the first try but it freezes a lot after working, especially when i try to use cydia or install a tweak, in 1 hour it froze like 10 times ... 14.3 ip12

    UPDATE : I tried to restore rootfs, it seems to work better now, i don't know if it was a tweak or restoring that made it better but it's working a lot better now
