Hi,

I should begin with stating that consider changing your battery before upgrading the performance difference is day and night.

3 days ago I've replaced my iPhone X battery in the Apple store in Turkey for TRY600 (Approx USD 85) the reason I used the apple store rather than third parties is there are a lot of fake batteries sold and fitted as original in here and I wanted to keep the device for the next 2 years, if possible.

The experience was easy it took around 1 hour for apple to give my phone back. I also learned that they change the speaker (for free) they are claiming that battery and speaker is interconnected.

The phone was launch day devive bought november 2017 with 1060 cycles and %79 health. I should say that I've never took care of the battery, charged whenever I want and mostly with 12w ipad charger. For the past 6 months, when the battery reached %82 the performance took a great hit it constantly heated up, struggled with simple tasks etc but never activated low performance mod in the battery settings. After it went below %80 it took 4-5 hours to empty the battery and I constantly had to carry a powerbank with me.

With the new battery I can say that this is a new phone. No performance issues, device is snappy as its first day battery lasts a full day, internet browsing, videos, social media etc. But no games. I believe I can easily go with full 2 year with this performance and its well worth it therefore I wanted to share my experience with you too.
