| iPhone 11 Pro Max stuttering on iOS 14.4 Posted: 01 Feb 2021 04:36 AM PST Is anyone experiencing stuttering and freezes on iOS14.4. I currently have a iPhone 11 Pro Max which worked awesome until the latest software update. Now it routinely keeps getting frozen - like swipe up to switch apps is delayed by a few seconds, camera app will open and its a completely black screen, can't attach the photo I took when using the message app and general overall sluggishness. I reset the iPhone completely and set it up as new. No restore from iCloud. Still seeing these issues. Any ideas or thoughts on what could be causing this? Is this a known issue? Anyone else experiencing the same and have a solution for this. Edit - only way I can fix this is by restarting the phone. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 31 Jan 2021 05:17 PM PST I understand why it's there, but not everybody using an aux cord is wearing headphones. I connect my phone to my car and use the dial on the stereo to control the volume. So when I'm listening to music in my car at a completely reasonable volume, it's very annoying when this feature (Which cannot be turned off!!) messes with my groove. I have a strange issue with my calendar that is a big inconvenience. when I create appointments, I double check that the time zone is Chicago. I have an appointment today at 3 PM. for whatever reason, when I glance at the appointments for the day, the time says 5 PM. Then when I click into the event details, I see two times: 5 to 6 PM, and 3 to 4 PM PST(??). So basically if I was not paying attention, I would be two hours late today. My time zone is Central. | Posted: 01 Feb 2021 07:46 AM PST Whenever I am on the phone and going through a phone support system, I will inadvertently enter numbers on the keypad numbers twice about 80% of the time. This happens even when I make a conscious effort to touch the number as lightly as quickly as possible. I don't have fat fingers either. My fingers are quite small. It's maddening because it makes it almost impossible to get through automated support systems. This only happened when I upgraded to the iPhone 12 mini and iOS 14. I never had trouble with this on the iPhone 7. I'm not sure if it's a software issue or a touchscreen issue. I believe it's software-related because the problem doesn't exist elsewhere (e.g., no problems when entering phone numbers to call someone). [link] [comments]  | ||

I have an iCloud email address I use with My iCloud account. Anytime I send meeting invites out, when I receive the meeting acceptances back. They do not come to my iPhone but they always go to Mac calendar. I've checked every setting a 1000 times and don't know what I am missing. It's either only notifications without sound or no sounds or alert at all. Anyone faced the same issue? Using the alert when battery reached 80%. Same issue on both ios 14.3 and 14.4. | Posted: 01 Feb 2021 04:24 AM PST I'd like to know if someone of you has the same problem: when i go in the password page in settings it works fine, but when i try yo pass in the password autofill page the system freeze. I can't touch anything and i see a vertical line of pixel in the left side that shows the previous page. I had this problem in iOS 14.2 and in 14.4. | iPhone Volume Raises When Touching Screen Posted: 31 Jan 2021 10:56 PM PST Hi Everyone, I just got an iPhone 12 mini, running iOS 14.3. Love the phone but I have a weird quirk. I have my volume set pretty low for notifications. I've noticed that if I touch the screen when a notification is coming in, the volume seems to raise quite a bit. It's especially startling at night. I've tested it and I can consistently make it happen. Specifically, it's if I'm getting a notification wile in the messages app. For instance, if I'm holding a message to induce the context menu, and I get a message on Facebook messenger, it'll be at a high volume. I tried touching the screen in other apps (eg settings), and it seems to only happen in messenger. Anyone else notice this? Edit, did more testing: only happens if I touch the screen while the banner and noise are playing. If I'm already touching the screen it's fine. But if I touch while the chime is going off it increases the volume dramatically. [link] [comments]  | ||
