- Question: I purchased a Macbook with an 8gig Graphics Card, but "About This Mac" shows THIS... Did I get the wrong machine?
- My wife had her iPhone 11 screen replaced at Cellairis. Now the phone now tells you that you might not have a genuine screen. My question is will Apple now reject the phone as a trade in?

I airdropped it to my MacBook Pro (2015) which is running OS El Capitan version 10.11.6. I opened it in Preview, adjusted the size, but when I try to save it, I get an error "document could not be saved." I tried going back to the drawing app and saving as JPG to see if that made a difference. It doesn't. I've done this hundreds of times, as recently as a few months ago. What should I do? Thank you! I am wondering if anyone has any links on where we would be able to buy a replacement set of keys to avoid the $250 apple repair bill, and our local stores are not doing repairs due to the 2020/2021 happening. Posted: 04 Feb 2021 09:38 PM PST I just upgraded my MacBook via replacing the logic board - the 8 gb ddr3 ram was maxing out for online school and I figured it would be relatively simple. I went from the 2.7 ghz, 8 gb logic board to the 3.1 ghz, 16 gb version from eBay. I kept my original 500 gb ssd and just swapped it over to the new board in the process. The swap went fine, mac booted up (but apple logo took longer to appear than on my original "slower" board, go figure) but I noticed that when I look at the specs it still shows 2.7 ghz, 8 gb ram. Did I get scammed with the wrong board? There is a 60 day return policy but I'm thinking there must be some sort of reset or detect feature that will allow the mac to "see" the upgraded ram and cpu. Or is it just that the specs are pulled from the serial number and not actually displayed as detected at all, meaning that the upgrade was complete but the mac won't ever show it outright? Or #2, maybe it's related to the fact that I'm using the original ssd which recalled that the original specs were 2.7, 8 gb even though the actual specs are the upgraded version. Is there a way to determine the specs of the logic board I ordered through the serial number? Thanks for your thoughts! [link] [comments]  |

If someone knows differently, please do share. Either way... I can insert it all right, I guess... but taking it out is extremely difficult. I have to use two hands and seesaw it back and forth. I was looking at the speakers at the bottom of my iPhone 12 Pro, and I noticed a bunch of gunk had collected there (probably tissue paper residue). I tried using canned air to get the gunk out, but it isn't working. Can I use a safety pin to scrape the gunk out of the speakers, or will the sharp needle damage the speakers? Thank you!! My MacBook is a Apple Silicon M1 Version with 16GB RAM running Big Sur 11.2 I can't possibly open the settings for changing screensavers, etcChanging the wallpaper is possible but as soon as I change to the screensaver panel it's not showing anything.
