Help! My original iPhone X screen in perfect condition doesn't react to touch input!

    Posted: 31 Jan 2021 08:42 AM PST

I woke up this morning, went for a run and when I came home my Screen just wouldn't recognize my touch. I first thought my phone just lagged but it wouldn't stop even after I hard reset it. Called apple support and they told me to search an authorized repair shop. Due to the Virus most stores are closed in my area. Is there maybe something I haven't tried yet? like I said I still have the original display without any scratches or cracks. also no water damage I know of. its quite a bummer because I wanted to wait for the next iPhone to upgrade :/

    Camera quality depleting over time??

    Posted: 30 Jan 2021 07:58 PM PST

Does anyone else feel like the camera quality on the iPhone X/XR or any iPhone really has dropped over time? I don't know what it is, but I sincerely think mine has and I don't know how to fix it.

Replacement iPhone X from Apple drains 15% battery overnight

    Posted: 30 Jan 2021 07:18 PM PST

Battery drains 15% overnight. So I just got a replacement iphone x from apple 2 weeks ago and updated it to 14.3 after 3 days from 13.7. It was fine on 13.7 but after updating it now drains 15% overnight. I tried turning off everything that can possibly drain the battery overnight, still no luck. Battery health is still 100%. Pic of battery settings in comments.

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE MAGNETIC IN iPHONE 12 MIGHT CAUSE MEDICAL INTERFERENCE

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE MAGNETIC IN iPHONE 12 MIGHT CAUSE MEDICAL INTERFERENCE

Apple has consistently disclosed the possibility of the iPhone 12 to cause electromagnetic interference with medical devices such as the pacemaker and defibrillators right from when the models were launched in October last year. This warning applies to most electronic gadgets with radio properties but Apple is sending out an additional warning due to the release of the Magsafe charger.

Medical devices such as implanted pacemakers and defibrillators might contain sensors that respond to magnets and radios when in close contact. To avoid any potential interactions with these devices, keep your iPhone and MagSafe accessories a safe distance away from your device (more than 6 inches / 15 cm apart or more than 12 inches / 30 cm apart if wirelessly charging). But consult with your physician and your device manufacturer for specific guidelines.

Apple also specifically warned about accessories like the MagSafe Charger and MagSafe Duo Charger, stating that it may also interfere with medical devices:

All MagSafe accessories (each sold separately) also contain magnets—and MagSafe Charger and MagSafe Duo Charger contain radios. These magnets and electromagnetic fields might interfere with medical devices too.

Despite the warnings, Apple insists that even though all iPhone 12 models contain more magnets than prior iPhone models, they are "not expected to pose a greater risk of magnetic interference to medical devices than prior iPhone models."

Earlier research findings indicated that iPhone 12 models can potentially inhibit lifesaving therapy in a patient due to magnetic interference with implantable medical devices. Three Carlifornia-based doctors tested this interaction by holding an iPhone 12 near a patient's implantable cardioverter-defibrillator. The article shows that the device immediately went into a "suspended" state for the duration of the test.
