    Apple claims I tampered with my watch

    I have an Apple Watch Series 3 that the screen separated from the body. After doing some research I found that it is a common issue with the S3 because of battery swelling. Apple said they would replace the battery for free. Apple support scheduled an appointment for me with a local authorized service provider, I dropped my watch off and then it came back today. Come to find out if that apple determined that the watch has been tampered with or had 3rd party parts in it. I bought the watch brand new, and have never had it serviced or repaired ever. I have been going back and forth with Apple support all day and they refuse to do anything, because it was marked as tampered with

    iphone 13 pro pink screen of death + panic log

    Hi everyone, so I've only had my iphone 13 pro for around 3-4 months and earlier today while I was using my back camera and switched to front, the screen immediately turned neon pink and then it just died by itself and rebooted. As I checked the analytics, I found a panic log and I'm not sure what it means but I've heard people say that it usually tells you that you have a hardware problem. However the whole thing happened before I even got to update to iOS 15.2 so I'm wondering if it could possibly be just because I didn't update yet? Then again as I said, panic logs usually imply a hardware problem. Any insights on this?

    Sign in to app with Apple ID using hidden email across multiple devices

    I have signed up to an app (GolfShot) using my iPhone and selected the Apple ID with hidden email method. I am now trying to login to the same account on my iPad but do not have the option to login with the same hidden email. I can access the hidden email and Apple ID login reference in settings under my account so it is syncing. Does anyone have any ideas?

    I'm using Apple Music for quite sometime and happy. Unfortunately, Apple music doesn't have several albums esp. regional ones from India.

    Incidentally, I have converted my old music CDs into FLAC or high quality MP3 files. Is there a way where I can upload my music to my iCloud apple music?

    I saw some posts where iCloud music can be disabled, then use iTunes to upload music, then enable iCloud music, finally merging with the existing songs. But this is possible one time. Its not a feasible idea to do whenever I have new files to upload.

    Any thoughts?

    Router QoS settings for FaceTime

    Is there a way to do it? I have a 90mbps internet connection, but if for example I'm downloading something and want to make a FaceTime video call, the call is laggy because the download uses all the bandwidth. Is there a way to set the router to ensure a specific bandwidth for FaceTime, sacrificing anything else when I'm making a call?

    Iphone xr battery health 99% after 5 days

    So i bought an iphone XR (brand new) and after discharging and recharging it 3 times ( i didnt know how these batteries work at the time) my battery health dropped down to 99% after just 5 days of owning the device. I have been on in since i got it and yes charging it the way I did isnt healthy but i dont think its normal for it to drop down no matter what i do with it for 5 days. Any advice?

    Lost AirPods - Question

    Okay, so I have kind of a weird issue. My AirPods have been lost for months. My roommate just found a pair in our room. They don't belong to anyone in the house, but they show up as "Not your AirPods" and the serial number isn't the same as the one in my phone. They have to be mine though...Does anyone have any ideas?

    Can I run Mac OS of an external SSD. I am thinking about buyin a nice (fast) enough SSD and connecting it to the thunderbolt one? port on the back of this old Mac that I'm trying to use. Will it speed up and improve the performance of the computer?

    “Find My” showing two different distances.

    In the "Find My" app, under the "people tab, next to someones name, I see one distance (105 miles) but when I click them to see the details it then says a different distance (127 miles)

    I just wanted to know if this is normal or if there's a reason why this is happening. Am I the only one who this happens to?

    Apple ID password reset takes 2 weeks even with access to recovery phone number and e-mail?

    My IPhone's charging port broke and I wanted to switch over to my dad's old phone but couldn't remember my Apple ID password. I initiated a reset on the device, the only device that would have logged into my apple ID in over two years, and even with access to the recovery phone number and email I'm getting a message that it will take 2 weeks for a reset? When attempting the initial reset I was sent an SMS message and email from Apple to verify with 6 digit codes which only brought me to where I'm at now. Apple support seems to indicate that if you have access to the recovery phone number and or email it should be a simple process and not take the two weeks that I"m getting. Does anyone have a theory why I'm being made to wait the 2 weeks? Does anyone know a work around or a way to get support to resend the codes to try again? Or any other solutions to the issue? Thanks!

    Move iMessage thread from Mac to iPhone?

    Hey guys, I have an iMessage thread from 2016 up until current that is entirely on my Mac and I accidentally deleted it from my phone. Is there a way to move the entire thread over? All the help I find online is to just turn on "Enable messages in iCloud" which is already on. That only helped move the messages onto my Mac, not my phone.

    Is there any other way to move it? Maybe to drag the actual message file from documents somewhere? Thanks in advance!

    Hey all - I won't have a PC for a while and just my M1 Pro Max, I still want to play some low intensive Steam games, is Bootcamp good enough for it at this time?

    File manager (I lost Color tags)

    I was recently trying to organise my files by colour tags, there all the colour listed seemed useless so I instead deleted all the colours and just kept few that were necessary! But now I need more colour tags to segregate my stuff how do get them back?

    All emails received in iCloud account are being sent to junk. Also, every single email since 03/17/21 have been put in junk folder.

    Export photos from mac photos app keeping in-app modified dates

    So, you know how you can change the date of a photo inside the mac photos app (now on iPhone too); this is very helpful since you get to sort them out correctly (given your photos dont have the correct date taken)

    Is there a way to export them with this new date written in the metadata?

    Trouble installing Monterey on new SSD

    I recently upgraded my SSD as I was running out of space.

    I crated a boot disk with Monterey onto an external SSD before replacing the internal SSD. I am able select the option to install Monterey onto the newly installed SSD but after the install is complete it seems as though it's choosing to run everything from the external drive as whenever I unplug the external drive, the laptop freezes.

    What can I be doing to fix this and ensure it's properly running from the internal drive?

    Edit: I'll add that when i load disk utility when I'm in the OS, the internal disk does not show even though I'm able to select it as a destination when it prompts me to install.

    AudioBooks added to Books app on Mac isn't syncing to other devices via iCloud

    All settings on Mac OS and on iOS are set to allow syncing of Books content via iCloud.

    When I add audiobook content to the Books library on my Mac, it simply fails to sync to my other devices. I've triple checked that every sync setting on every device allows for Books syncing via iCloud and yet the content doesn't show up.

    For reference, PDF and other ebook content is syncing. The audiobook in question is in AAC format.

    How to download an UK iTunes app to iPad available when I have a US account

    I want to download an app called NowTV onto my iPad. But that app (NowTV) is only available in the UK, and my iTunes/Apple account is the US one. I do have a UK account, but I'm afraid that if I switch to the UK one, that I can't switch back to the US one within 3 months.

    What should I do?

    Any way to change the Podcast app's regional/language setting without changing my overall region?

    So I genuinely like the UX of the default podcast app and do not desire to use a different one, but this is driving me nuts:

    I live in a non-english-speaking country but only listen to English podcasts. The "Browse" tab is completely useless to me as I only see crappy podcasts in my native language.

    Why is there still in 2022 no simple way to switch region to whatever is desired? Am I missing something?

    I can't switch my account to the US region because I don't have US payment information.

    Any hint appreciated!

    M1 Multiple Displays

    Hey all,

    I know the M1 MacBook Air won't support multiple monitors without the display link software, but from all the research it looks like each monitor needs its own port. What I'm thinking of doing is a usbC to display port cable into a display port splitter, plugging in from there to the monitors and then running the display link software. Would this work? Asking now before I go make a bunch of purchases.
