How to switch from headphones to speakers while headphones are plugged in? Posted: 07 Jan 2021 08:20 AM PST A small broken piece of my aux cable of my headphones is stuck in my ipads headphones input. Would be very happy if there would be a way to use it again normally. Thanks for your help [link] [comments]
Still No Way to View Battery Health Percentage on iPads? Posted: 07 Jan 2021 11:59 AM PST The title says it all. iPhones, Apple Watches, and MacBooks all have the ability to view their battery health percentage. MacBooks have larger and supposedly longer lasting batteries than iPads. And yet, battery health seems to be of more importance on MacBooks. I understand this might be because more people leave their MacBooks plugged in 24/7 to use in a monitor setup. But with iPads increasingly being used in laptop fashion with external keyboards, mice, and monitors, people continue to leave their iPads plugged in for extended periods of time too. So why has Apple still not included the ability to view battery health percentage on iPads? Is it because leaving your iPad plugged in 24/7 will not affect the battery at all (unlike MacBooks)? Or has Apple just not taken into consideration these new use cases of iPads? Curious to hear to what you all think. [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Jan 2021 01:08 AM PST So i just recently bought an ipad 8 128gb - i was supposed to get the 32gb but my sister told me its better in the long run even though im just at 15gb right now. Anyway, as a graduate student, i never thought i needed an iPad. When i was in college (pre-pandemic) i never had an ipad and did literally everything on my (now dead) macbook air 2015. Having an ipad reinvents my workflow since it complements my mac. I read, take notes, netflix, or just consume media on my iPad and my macbook is where i do my work. Not to mention, everything is seamless cause of icloud. Smart keyboard support is a really great feature. During online classes, i use my ipad to take down notes on onenote. Plus if i go out, no need for me to bring my mac cause i have my ipad already. (I dont have a pencil right now since im still thinking about it). [link] [comments]

Best option for a writing/drawing stand for the iPad Pro 12.9 2018 version Posted: 07 Jan 2021 09:16 AM PST My current ipad has the keyboard folio attached to it which I adore. However, one thing I find really annoying is the lack of an ergonomic writing position whilst writing or drawing on a flat surface which leads to neck strain. I am trying to find something that will hold the iPad in landscape mode at a slight angle. Prefer to sit around 15 to 20 degrees. Has anyone found anything that works for them? There are some nice ones for the Macbook, but they are too long for landscape mode, and/or they have rest-lips that care too tall, so it makes it impossible to draw and rest your wrist on the iPad. I've come across the Moft non adhesive stand that I think might possibly be a good pair with the iPad Pro with the keyboard as the adhesive version cannot be pasted onto the keyboard. Any suggestions? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Jan 2021 05:13 AM PST Was planning to jump on the latest update after 14.2 has been giving me trouble, but I heard 14.3 has some bad bugs as well so I've been wanting to hold off. Now that it's been out a bit, how's everyone's experiences with it? [link] [comments]
Can you get Sticky notes always on top Posted: 07 Jan 2021 11:10 AM PST Are there any good sticky notes apps with an always on top feature available? The ones I've checked all close when you switch to another application but I want a sticky note to stay on top no matter what application is used in tandem. Does one exist? [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Jan 2021 04:37 AM PST I've accidentally dislodge my Ipad Pro on and its left bottom corner bumped at the 1,W, and Q keys button. How durable are the keys? Can hey handle normal typing pressures and minor accidents in the long run? [link] [comments]
Non-original PS4 controller for iPad? Posted: 07 Jan 2021 01:23 AM PST Hi guys I was wondering if non-original PS4 controllers (with Bluetooth) are compartible with the IPP? The original PS4 dualshock controller are a bit expensive and if I can spare a coin it would be nice! [link] [comments]

iPadOS14 performance on iPad Pro 10.5 A10 Processor Posted: 07 Jan 2021 02:10 AM PST Hey folks. I have an iPad Pro 10.5 and it's still running with iOS12. I am thinking to update it to iPadOS 14. Do you know if there are any recognized problems which lead to slower performance. How is is the battery holding up with the new OS? And is there a significant latency with the pencil while using it? Are there any users with the thoughts "Why update? It works!" [link] [comments]
Hotspot Question for IPad with Cellular Posted: 06 Jan 2021 03:33 PM PST Hi! My previous iPad found itself in the bottom of my pool (lol) so I need to by another. It was a 5th gen WiFi. Now, I do want to use it for traveling (internet consumption, streaming vid) so I'm torn on what is better/more efficient. Is it more cost effective to get the iPad 8th gen with the cellular plan? Or would you say get a wifi only and use my iPhone tether or purchase a mobile hotspot for when I did want internet (kinda like pay as you go hotspot) Thank you in advance! [link] [comments] |
