TL;DR I thought my X was gone forever, now I have to decide if I'm keeping the 12 Pro or go back to the X.

Long version: I sent my X to a wireless carrier store in Florida, they're able to replace a broken back glass, right? So USPS dropped the box off at the door after hours (per the tracking number) and next day, wireless store tells me they don't have the phone.

So at this point I assume it's stolen and filed a USPS claim (no police report because, well, I don't know if it's stolen or just missing). Picked up the iPhone 12 Pro, 256gb this morning because I'm not paying $500 for another X.

Few minutes ago the wireless carrier store in Florida reaches out to say the X was just delivered and do I still want it repaired? I have no idea how it was "delivered" then missing and suddenly delivered again.

So...I can pay the $45 for the back replacement and take this 12 Pro back, or keep the 12 and sell the X. Or keep it as a spare.

What's a guy to do?!

Dropped my phone on the ground, and since its been blacked out or had a green light where the clock is normally and there are horizontal lines running through it.

Any easy fixes apart from changing the screen? Phone has no other damage :/

So like some of you, I had been hoping for ProMotion on this year's iPhones, probably just out of hype not necessarily as a need. What are the actual real use cases and benefits of it, I'd like your input. I have used it on other devices briefly(iPad Pro, S20U, N20U etc - it felt better on the iPad IMO) and while it was cool...the novelty sort of quickly disappeared into the background(like the notch for example). I'm not saying I'd be mad if I had it, I'm just wondering whether it's a genuine deal breaker. What are your thoughts? Are the benefits justifiable for real use cases? Or is it something that I will quickly be desensitized to?

I left my iphone in a closed room where wet clothes were drying on the radiator for a whole day, all windows were closed and the room was kinda humid. Is my iPhone damaged now? Would the microphone and camera be okay?

Hi there very very recently I had sold my iPhone X, which was 64 GB, then obviously I bought the iPhone 12 pro max, like the device however, never preferred stock iOS. specifically, I prefer jailbreaking so what would you say is it worth buying the iPhone X again? Specially 256 GB? My mother has the XS max, which I have obtained from her if I return the 12 promax, opinions would be appreciated

Guys so after iOS 14.2 update, my phone is pretty smooth but battery life has taken a hit and further I can't reply on whatsapp from notification centre, is this a new bug?

Phone not working after water

Hi. My iPhone X was in water for a few minutes and now the screen is having issues. At first it worked a bit but a few minutes later the screen randomly went off; I once saw the whole screen completely green. I'm very worried as I'm not in the financial situation to get a new phone; can anyone help?
