Since I can't do anything on screen I can't restart or log back into my phone. What do I do? I don't know if I should bring it back to a repair center. I recently copied a folder over 300gb from my main drive to an external drive. I then deleted those files from the main drive and emptied the trash. This was yesterday but the files are still taking space in the hard drive. I looked at daisy disk and it indeed showed over 300gb in "hidden files" but it can't be deleted because the files aren't there. I've never used time machine. I've tried running in safe mode, doing first aid on the drive, resetting spotlight and a bunch other tips I've seen on here but to no avail. It's showing the same amount of disk space on everything. One thing potentially worth noting is that in the "Manage Storage" window it shows I have 900gb of "system storage." I figure that may be tied to the issue, not sure though. | Posted: 21 Nov 2020 08:11 PM PST Hello everyone! I have 2nd gen airpods, I purchased them in April/May 2020. I have had no problems with them until today; I usually clean the earwax out with a q-tip (wet and dry) and it's never been a problem. Today out of nowhere, the sound quality on the right airpod was so low, I had to go into my settings>accessibility>hearing and adjust the sound to favour the right side. I let the airpods charge and I tried again in 3 hours to see if it would work better. 3 hours pass and I try them in, and the same problem, so I clean them again, and now the LEFT ONE DOESNT WORK. So I disconnect it from my phone, repair it like a new set of airpods, and I had to adjust the hearing once again now to favour the left airpod but the sound is so off/imbalanced on both. What can I do to adjust? When I play my music full blast, it is still so quiet. Please help! [link] [comments]  |

Much is from CDs I purchased, or one-of-a-kind music friends of mine mixed themselves. This was all before iCloud etc. (and I had a computer crash), so that music lives exclusively on my phone and is not on my MacBook Pro or iCloud. I've put off buying a new phone for years because I didn't want to lose my music, but my phone's battery is finally abysmal enough that I have to. How can I get my music from my old iPhone 6 onto my new phone (or computer, though I really just want it on my phone)? Any time I try to sync it to iCloud I get a pop-up asking if I want to delete all the music on my phone and synch to my account, which gives me a mini heart attack, and I hit cancel. It seems completely random and it started happening out of no where. None of my other devices have problems with internet speed and/or cell service which has left me stumped. It's an iPhoneX fairly new only 6 months old. Never dropped, broken, or any other occurrences which may have triggered it. Everything is updated, there is plenty of space on the cloud and on the phone itself. I've deleted apps that seem to not work and redownload them without success and just yesterday did a complete factory reset just to have the same problems. | Purchased a pre-owned MacBook Pro 2010 and can't reinstall OSX Posted: 21 Nov 2020 10:27 PM PST Some info- The previous owner didn't log out of icloud before erasing the Mac and she doesn't remember any log in info. It's old so I don't blame her for forgetting. I tried booting into internet recovery (Command, option, R) but this does nothing so it leads me to believe my Mac doesn't support that feature. So I think I only have one or two options. Make a boot able flash drive with OS X on it. Though, I think my Mac might not support bootable usb drives because my Mac has a disk drive. My other option would be to purchase a new installation disk. Does anyone have any input or information I could use? Thank you!! [link] [comments]  |

| iCloud tabs not showing on iPhone 12 Mini iOS 14.2.1 Posted: 21 Nov 2020 10:11 PM PST I just noticed this, after using the phone for over a week, and don't know whether this is a new phenomenon or has been the case since I restored this phone from the backup of my XS (also running 14.2) last weekend. Fir years now, all of my Apple devices have given me access to the web pages open in tabs in Safari on all my other Apple devices - two Macs, an iPad, and an iPhone. Admittedly, it gets cluttered sometimes, but it can be helpful from time to time. Just now though I noticed that my iCloud tabs are not present in Safari on my iPhone. I'm thinking I must've somehow disabled a relevant setting somewhere, but I can't find a setting for it anywhere in Settings. I've looked under iCloud and under Safari, and I can't find a setting for iCloud tabs. I doubt the feature has been altogether removed; it seems most likely that I just toggled the setting by accident and now can't find it. Can anyone guide me to it? [link] [comments]  |

Whenever im using it again (idk if it has interval of time) it will stuck in the logo again so I need to hard reset it again. | Posted: 21 Nov 2020 09:59 PM PST Annoying issue I'm facing with my iPhone 8. Phone shuts down on it's own at 40% and only wakes up when I connect it to power. In the battery status in the settings app, there would just be a gap in between the time it powered off and when it was charged and up. Just a while ago, I was watching Facebook at around 40% when it happened again, this time only waking up with 10% battery left. I restarted it and it went back to 40%.
