| iphone keeps disconnecting cellular and crashing apps Posted: 03 Oct 2020 11:19 PM PDT hello, I have an iphone xr, after I updated to ios 14 the cellular network disconnects, even if I turn airplane mode on and off it doesn't comeback unless I reboot the phone. I updated to the newest update and the problem still persists, and when it disconnect the phone becomes slow and apps crashes, even some times can't shut down the phone normally. the problem got so bad that I'm actually thinking of buying a new phone. | iPhone 11 disconnects from WiFi when on a call Posted: 03 Oct 2020 08:55 PM PDT So, I've been having this issue where whenever I'm on FaceTime, or even a regular call, my iPhone disconnects and reconnects to the WiFi every few minutes. I thought it was my internet, but I upgraded it and am still having the same problem. I am on iOS 14.0.1. Any ideas on what to do? I've reset network settings, airplane mode, WiFi calling, all that jazz. I'm at a loss for what to do. | Low volume output on all Bluetooth devices. Posted: 03 Oct 2020 06:53 PM PDT I have an iPhone 8 Plus currently on iOS 14.0.1 and I've recently had the issues of low volume output on all things Bluetooth. I noticed it in my truck first, then checked it out on all my other Bluetooth devices and same thing. It seems it was working perfectly fine then just all of a sudden it just dropped. I've googled and tried everything I could find. Deleting and reconnecting connection, making sure there's no volume limit, playing with the EQ, even changing some volume settings on apps, but nothing helped. I used to be able to jam out when the radio volume was at 15, now it needs to be at 24 to get the same amount of "loudness" but then it just sounds all blown out. I switch back and fourth Bluetooth connections from my iphone to another in the truck and it's just night and day difference. I was wondering if anybody's run into that or has something out of the box I can try checking. I'd rather not reset the whole phone, but it seems I'm running out of options. Oh, and also it may or may not be related but one day my son set my phone to save power mode. I turned it off and seemed fine, but maybe there's something else I missed? "CNBC: Stock Market & Business" says it's running and has the screen time going up by the minute. Ive never installed this app and it isnt installed on my phone at all. Any fix for this? I'd still like to be able to receive and make phone calls and texts. I've tried freedom, flipid, and focus. Freedom was what I wanted, but for whatever reason, after I installed the VPN, my reddit app didn't connect. I uninstalled the VPN but ultimately had to erase and reboot from a backup. | Posted: 03 Oct 2020 07:15 AM PDT Hey all, Done a screen change on my mums iPhone 7 Plus and now the proximity sensor won't sense anything next to it. It's making calls a hassle for her. I used an OEM screen from replacebase but I'm thinking either the tint is too dark in front of the sensor or the sensor itself is damaged during changeover. Any thoughts or help appreciated Edit: she's just told me that the phone will sometime freeze when she's texting but it'll last approx 10 seconds and then be fine again. Doesn't happen often so I'm putting that down to lack of RAM and older Processor? An older phone with a newer update possibly? Thanks again [link] [comments]  |
| Cannot Restore iPhone 6 on Recovery Mode Posted: 03 Oct 2020 07:14 AM PDT I have an old iPhone 6 that I want to unlock. My sister last used it somewhere around 2017-2018, and she has forgotten her Apple ID (and consequently its password) that she used to log into this phone, and the screen is stuck on "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes". After researching a bit on the internet, I decided to 'restore' the phone. So I went into recovery mode while connecting the phone to the iTunes on my laptop. It got detected, and iTunes said it would download the necessary update before restoring the phone. However, after waiting for approx. 15-20 minutes, my phone became undetected and its screen returned to the "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes" screen. I tried to do the same method, but after three tries, it still gave me the same result. Recovery mode > choose Restore > iTunes downloads the update > after 15-20 min the phone goes undetected and the screen is back to "iPhone is disabled". I cannot pinpoint as to what could be the problem, does anyone have any solution? [link] [comments]  |

Apps I have previously downloaded work fine for some reason. I have signed out and in of my apple ID, messed with date and time, even restored the phone and nothing has fixed it. Voices and talking are extremely quiet and I have to turn up my volume the whole way up to hear them. Sound effects and music on the other hand are playing at normal volume. I'm completely baffled about how this has happened as different aspects of videos are playing at different volumes. Also I've tried not using headphones and it works perfectly but it's not exactly ideal when out in public. It's please help. [link] [comments]  |
