Feature Request: Timeout for spamming notifications. Posted: 19 Oct 2020 01:54 PM PDT Group chats are great and all but when people talk a lot in them I hate the constant notifications popping up. Silencing the group all together isn't a solutions because I still want to know if/when people are talking. So how about a compromise. If a thread has multiple notifications coming through, display the first one then have a timer/countdown that starts. And only re-notify me if there are more notifications after the timer ends. For example: Let's say I'm in a thread and every 5 seconds a message comes through. Have a customizable timer that lets say is set at 30 seconds. With the timer enabled the first notification will show up. Then all notifications for the thread will be queued for 30 seconds and at 30 seconds a "group notification" pops up saying "you have 6 new notifications in X thread". Maybe it gives you the first 2 notifications before the timer starts or something like that. Of course If you click on the notification the timer will not start. This feature is only effective if you are actively using the device and not interacting with the messages. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 20 Oct 2020 05:17 AM PDT Hi, anyone knows of a reminder app that has an alarm option for the reminders, I use the default reminder app but I keep overlooking the notifications, I want something annoying that way I don't overlook the reminder I found Due which seems to be exactly what I'm Looking for, but I want to see if there's one thats better or free before jumping to buy it Thanks in advance [link] [comments] |
