| The Music widget needs a “Now Playing” option. Posted: 30 Sep 2020 06:22 PM PDT I can't believe how half-baked even Apple's own widgets seem. The Music app widget is great, showing you the art of your most recently played playlist. I was hoping to have it on my home screen to replace the simple app launcher. However, you can't customize it. I want it to simply launch the "Now Playing" screen. There are other apps that don't allow much customization either, but this just seems like a no-brainer. | BUG: Whatsapp or any other app camera shutter is max volume Posted: 01 Oct 2020 05:17 AM PDT When phone isn't on silent there is a camera shutter that you can't turn off or lower volume on any app. Also why did you remove fast call on phone 3D touch at home screen ? | Posted: 30 Sep 2020 02:17 PM PDT For anyone that is a user of the popular Deliveries app, watch out for today's update. They "pulled an "Airmail" and switched to a subscription model. I paid $4.99 for the app on 8/21 and I'm not expected to pay $4.99 to use all of its features. I do not understand how an App Store that is so consumer focused allows this. Apps should be forced to publish under a new name so I don't have to turn off auto updating to use what I paid for. | [app recommendation] Looking for a RSS reader app that let me download years old content Posted: 30 Sep 2020 08:11 AM PDT Is there a RSS app on iOS that would let me pull and archive offline blogs going several years back? The scenario is I'm catching up on a game that has patches over the years and I want to catch up on posts going at least 2-3 years back. I also want to have some reading on commute (offline). And... sometimes also you have a blog that hasn't been updated in 1+ year, and yet has lots of interesting older blog posts that I want to be able to pull. Most RSS apps seem to be designed to consume "fresh" content, and so those I tried never allowed me to pull really old blog posts. This could be a limitation of RSS as well. An alternative would be some kind of "scraping" app on iOS that would let me download a blog for offline viewing... does Apple even allow that though? [link] [comments]  | ||
