Phone screen popped and apple won't help fix it

The whole screen of my Iphone X suddenly popped open one day. I tried to get support from Apple on it, and went to the apple store myself to get it checked. They thought it might have been a problem with the battery and so I sent it in to get it fixed.

A few days later, I got an email telling me I made unauthorized modifications to the phone. I did NOT make any modifications and have been the only owner of the phone.

I have contacted Apple support multiple times, each time being 3-4 hours on the phone with different apple employees; and the only thing that they have told me is that they will not check my Iphone ever again because I supposedly made 'unauthorized modifications' to my phone! There absolutely no elaboration on what the modification was at all! The funny thing is that they even thanked me for supporting apple products throughout the years and 'kindly' let me know that the new iphone is coming out soon!

Honestly, being an avid supporter of Apple products, I find the service of their so called 'technicians' or their 'customer support' is absolutely ridiculous!

I take offense to being called a liar, a cheat and given the run around when I have not changed a thing in or on my phone!

Trying to get the most value out of my iPhone XS MAX

I'm thinking of buying an iPhone 11 Pro (smaller size) now that I've paid off my current iPhone XS MAX but not sure how to get the most value out of it.

Does anyone know if it would be better to:

A. trade in my XS MAX now, before new phones drop, presuming that the value will decrease after the "Apple event"?

B. wait until the iPhone 12 drops. Presumably my XS MAX would have less value to trade in, but the iPhone 11 Pro would also probably drop in price.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Low screen brightness

Hey, So my friend installed his ICloud backup on his iPhone and since then he got a very low screen brightness, pic in comments. Before the backup it was completely fine. Maybe you can help us out, because google didn't bring any solutions. He already patched a new iOS version (13.7)

I lost my iPhone 11 on a hike this weekend and don't have a backup phone to use. I can get a new 256GB iPhone XS for $650 through an AT&T deal, a 128 GB iPhone 11 for $750, or I can figure out a way to wait it out for the 12. Any thoughts on which direction to go?
