    Does Magic Keyboard + Pencil + Mouse = Overkill?

    I just received the Magic Keyboard (literally 10 minutes ago) which I am using to write this post. I really like it and love the trackpad. I've seen many setups where people also had a mouse and was wondering if that was overkill. I already have the Apple Pencil, and was wondering if anyone could think of a use case where all three input methods were beneficial to have. Thx.

    I've had iPads in the past but have been using an Android tablet lately but it's definitely past its sell by date. Has gotten very slow and the battery life very poor. I've gotten out of touch with the the models and generations of iPads and am thoroughly confused by those being offered for sale used. I'm looking for a suggestion or an opinion about what I could buy that's maybe a few years older but still not too old to be useful in today's world. Im hoping to spend as little money as possible.

    GoodNotes, Notability, OneNote, Nebo - none of them handle links??

    I feel like I'm losing my mind with note taking on iPad.

    I recently decided to pick up an Apple Pencil to give it a try. I've never been good at taking notes with pen and paper, it was never a strong point at school for me. A computer was always a preference (though computing at school isn't what it is today when I was at school).

    I thought digital note taking with a pen might be different, I can modify and search. Sounds great.

    But literally none of these note taking apps support any kind of link handling which just seems insane to me? Surely a major advantage over pen and paper is being able to insert links to good resources right in there with your notes? GoodNotes doesn't even let you visit pasted links and the rest are fiddly at best. I would expect all of these to extract link data and convert them into nice little cards you can position into your notes tidily and easily tap them to view.

    JP Rumor: Apple press release is just 2 days away

    Apple press release is currently scheduled for Tuesday (September 8) at 9:00am EST — though, I should note that it's not locked in until the press has been briefed, day of.

    So basically its less than 48hrs away and I am sure many are waiting for the release some peeps to get the Budget and others bcz of the Air 4 rumors having the pro design and all.

    I am certain 8th gen base will make it, I seriously doubt Air 4 will be thrown without a proper event if they are planning such changes to its design.

    that being said I'll just place the time one can expect the video release to roll out on youtube maybe.

    Ipad Notes access from lockscreen

    Hi, just wanna know if anyone here has the same problem. I updated recently my ipad 7th gen to 13.6.1. Before that, I was able to access from the lock screen the notes app by tapping on the locked screen my apple pencil twice. But now it isn't. Sorry if I'm nitpicking, but I really like this feature. Is this a bug or do I have to do something in the settings? I already checked the notes' settings and the access from lockscreen is "on". Thanks for your thoughts/help!

    Is anyone else having issues uploading images from iPad (Less than a year old with latest IOS) to Antenna? I keep getting a <<<<Request failed. Bad request. 400>>>>error and no pictures will upload from my photo library to Reddit when I try to submit a post.

    Is the Galaxy Tab or iPad Pro better for artwork?

    I am arguing with a guy. I think iPad Pros are better than the Galaxy Tab overall and with art. He says the Tab is better. I have a Samsung phone, so I am trying my best to not be biased toward one or the other. But I think Apple has better tablets. Besides the S pen being able to use without charging and coming with the tablet, how is the Tab better? Dex is sometimes buggy and the only area where the Tab is much better which is in business work. In art, there is Krita but not as high quality as Procreate, and CSP but that is a subscription.

    4G iPad users- do you find having mobile data makes a difference for you?

    I'm in the middle o nowhere now where you pretty much only have WiFi at people's houses, but I'm moving to the big city (NorCal bay area) soon, and idk if free WiFi is so everywhere that it makes a difference. Also, I'm not sure what signal quality is like outside of a phone, does it get any better?

    Videos blurry on YouTube?

    Don't know if this is an iPad thing or what. I got an iPad 10'2" a few weeks back, it works great, but when I go on YouTube any videos I watch are blurry unless I change the resolution to 720p (it's default is 360p).

    I don't mind changing it, but is this normal? I just checked and my downloaf speed is 228mbps. I have other devices on my WiFi, so not sure if that matters.

    Not sure if it's news but saw that Apple updated the iPad Air pricing today momentarily to $619. I grabbed a screenshot. I refreshed my screen and it went back to the normal price.

    My Apple Pencil gen 1 won’t pair on my iPad

    I don't know if this problem has already been solved (it's my first time here in this subreddit and first time having an iPad so bare with me please)

    So my father bought me an iPad Air 3 and an Apple Pencil (I wasn't able to go there there cuz of quarantine in the Philippines). The clerk guy said at the store that we needed to open the box so we can check if there's damages and also to activate the warranty (?)

    so they checked the iPad and it was fine but when they checked the Apple Pencil the clerk guy paired the pencil to another iPad (I think it was the display one) and didn't disconnect it.

    And when my father got home and I got the iPad, I tried to pair the pencil to the iPad but it didn't pair up!!!! I tried multiple times

    Ahhhhh what should I do?? Should we contact the store or is there another easier way to solve this?

    I finally got an iPad and I couldn't drawww I'm so frustrated

    Problems with Wi-Fi on iPad Pro (2020)

    Is anyone else having problems where all the other Apple devices in your home have no connectivity issues but there is always one that does? Very recently my iPad started having problems with connecting to Wi-Fi. It sometimes disconnects from my Wi-Fi and then will proceed to try to connect again but this time showing the "No Internet Connection" under the Wi-Fi's name. I have tried resetting network settings several times, restarting the iPad and also restarting the router which fixed the problem for one day. It is becoming very annoying and I do not know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated.

    Does Rk 61 keyboard support basic shortcut key commands on iPad?

    I have a relatively new iPad Pro 2020 and I just recently bought the rk61 mechanical keyboard as my keyboard. But i don't seem to access some basic shortcut key commands such as ctrl+c for copy and ctrl+z to undo. I'm really fond of this keyboard and I don't really want to return it. I also setted it up to the MacOS switch. Anything?

    JustWatch: Opening PrimeVideo titles launches PrimeVideo website on Safari instead of app

    If you know JustWatch it lets you see all titles from your providers so that you then just touch the provider and it launches the app. It works just fine for AppleTv or Netflix it opens the app on the movie page, but for PrimeVideo it opens safari instead of the app.

    Any idea on what could be the cause and solution?
