    I get either a Mi Android TV Box for free or an Apple TV for an additional $5 per month to my home broadband plan if I renew this month.

    (Also: A new Apple TV comes with a one-year free trial for Apple TV+, right? Are the shows good?)

    Free AppleTv+ with purchase of AppleTv box

    Based on responses from an earlier post, I'm going to get an AppleTv 4K 64gb. I'm 6 months into free AppleTv+ I got when I purchased my iPad. The AppleTv purchase also includes the free 1 year access to AppleTv+. Do I get another year added to my current promotion, so I would have my remaining 6 months plus another year? Do I get 1 year from purchase, so I have 1 more year instead of my remaining 6 months? Or do I not get anymore time since I already got the promotion, so I only have 6 months remaining?

    Audio turning on and off

    The audio from my Apple TV 4K turns off for half a second every 2 seconds when using Netflix or Plex. AppleTV content seems fine and outputs fine. I had this issue a month ago and my search told me to switch from a wifi connection to a wired Ethernet connection, which I did. That seemed to fix the issue but the problem is back.

    I've confirmed the ATV is getting good bandwidth (I have 1GB Bell Fibe) using the Speedtest app on the ATV, so I'm unsure what could be wrong.

    I have a simple setup: Apple TV 4K connected to an LG CX 65" OLED which outputs audio to a Samsung HW-Q80R soundbar over eARC.

    Any ideas on next steps?

    Using 4th Gen AppleTV on 4K TV

    We've had a 4th generation AppleTV for a few years and been using it on our primary TV which is fairly old. I've just upgraded and ordered a new 4K UHD TV. I'm wondering if using an "older" AppleTV will have significant impact on my 4K TV viewing, since I don't have the 4K AppleTV.

    Will the picture quality be the same on the new TV as it is now? Am I really missing out on not having the 4K AppleTV to go with my 4K TV? Is it worth the price to upgrade?

    Any help is appreciated!

    I've tried them both ways and both work just fine. (at least I can't tell any difference)

    Just wondering if one is "correct" and one is "wrong"....

    [4K] Touch to show screensaver location doesn’t work

    Hi guys, title is pretty much it. Before I could lightly touch the remote to show the locations of screensavers, but it doesn't work any more. Any thoughts?
