Friendly Reminder of Burn-In Potential with AW Series 5 Posted: 31 Jul 2020 01:17 PM PDT Hi all, Just recently discovered that I had some OLED burn in on my Apple Watch Series 5. I am partial to the black Roman numerals watch face. It looks great — hybrid between mechanical watch and digital. I thought it was a new transparency effect that other parts of the system use. I take responsibility for it since I did not vary up the faces and always had always on enabled. Honestly doesn't bother me, but let this be a heads-up if you care to avoid. The photo in the link doesn't do too well to show the burn in, but in-person it is readily evident. YMMV [link] [comments] | ||
