Why do people care about sleep tracking? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 06:34 AM PDT Out of curiosity, I've used apps like AutoSleep or sleep++ to track my sleep. I've gleaned absolutely nothing from the data these have provided - why would I care about how much I move at night? Especially when I don't seem to see a relation between restfulness and a lack of moving during sleep. It just seems like useless data since it's not particularly actionable data. E: did someone really go thru all the comments agreeing with me and downvote them? Lol [link] [comments]

Question regarding Exercise inaccuracy... Posted: 30 Jul 2020 07:58 AM PDT I believe I have read in the past that exercise counts when your heart rate is over a normal level for a certain period of time... My issue is this... I just went for an 11.5 minute outdoor walk and it only calculated 4 minutes of exercise, even though I logged the walk in the workout app... I think the issue MAY BE that I used to have a significantly higher heart rate (I have some health issues and my heart rate at rest would be 120bpm and walking would be 160+)... Now, my heart rate is back to normal and at rest I am 50-60bpm and walking I am 70-85bpm... Could this be why the minutes are not calculating in the ring properly? Also, is there any way to reset that so that it would learn my healthy heart rate? Any help would be appreciated. As it stands right now, I can't close my rings anymore :-/ [link] [comments]
Working out with the Nike Sports Loop Posted: 30 Jul 2020 07:40 AM PDT I really want to get the Hyper Crimson / Neptune Green sports loop but I was wondering how these deal with sweat. I get very sweaty when exercising and I thought this would but a good band but I'm now realizing that because it's cloth-like maybe it'll get gross when working out. Anyone have any experience with this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jul 2020 07:38 AM PDT I don't want email (and a few other apps) in my Apple Watch. Is there a way to unsync or remove email? [link] [comments] |
