Regarding iOS 14 beta, this is a friendly reminder: read the Release Notes Posted: 30 Jul 2020 03:07 AM PDT I see the same questions every day regarding problems that are mentioned in the Releases Notes as a Known Issue, and every single time I have to say "It's in the Release Notes as a Known Issue" followed by a copy/paste from the Release Notes and a reminder of where to find the Release Notes. So, this is a friendly reminder to read the Release Notes. You can find the Release Notes in the Feedback app, or here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/ios-ipados-release-notes/ios-ipados-14-beta-release-notes So when the next beta comes out, read the Release Notes. If you run into bugs, review the Release Notes to see if they are Known Issues. This is a part of the iOS beta testing process. Thank you. [link] [comments]

Could someone find the wallpapers from the iPhone 4s? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 02:32 AM PDT You remember when you had an iPhone 4s and there were those colored wallpapers with the little dots in them? Well I am looking everywhere across the internet, trying to find that for the iPhone XS with no luck at all. If you do know where I could get them, please reply to this post. [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Jul 2020 10:41 AM PDT I am new to the the apple environment. One thing I noticed is that Apple won't allow me to choose any other 2 factor authentication than SMS/Call, which is known to be extremely insecure due to sim swaps being so easy to pull off. What I couldn't figure out yet: Assuming someone gains access to your phone number (is able to receive your SMS/Calls) but doesn't have your Apple ID password, can this person access you Apple ID account and therefore iCloud, all your passwords, media etc.? If so, wouldn't it be actually more secure to go without 2FA for Apple ID, since it just adds another window for attacks? [link] [comments] |
