Series 5 started vibrating while I was sleeping, but with no notifications. Posted: 20 Jul 2020 05:12 AM PDT So I've started to wear my watch to sleep because I'm on call for my job. If they call, I absolutely have to get up, respond, and leave within a few minutes. Last night, while sleeping, my watch started vibrating. It felt like it was following the call vibration pattern, but there wasn't any call. I jumped up and grabbed my phone. No call there either. Only notifications were 2 emails from hours before. I've heard of phantom vibrations, but those are usually just small taps that go away quickly. The ones that happened to me last night kept going on, even after I got out of bed. I'm also convinced it's not the anti-snoring vibrations. Again, those are quick to come and go. Anyone else have this happen? Is there a feature I just can't figure out? I did my research before asking here. [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Jul 2020 05:33 AM PDT Hey guys! My mom had a series one Apple Watch and it was starting to struggle with battery life so I got her a series five aluminum for Christmas. She was fine for a few months, but recently her skin in the area where the watch touches is becoming severely red and irritated. It goes away when she stops wearing the watch, and cleaning the watch does nothing. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions? Would Apple do anything (maybe allow an exchange for a different material)? [link] [comments]

Posted: 20 Jul 2020 03:34 AM PDT Hi, not sure if this belongs here but I use Yahoo Finance price alerts for certain stocks. The notifications work great on my iPhone but I can't seem to get the notifications on Apple Watch. Checked my settings and it's supposed to mirror the notifications of my phone. Anyone have the same issue? [link] [comments]

Notifications without vibration Posted: 20 Jul 2020 04:24 AM PDT I don't know how to debug this issue. Some of the notifications don't have a vibration, while others do. For example, I have Outlook on my iPhone (but not on the Watch). 15 min before each meeting, a notification is displayed; on the iPhone and on the Watch. But no vibration. But for Messages, Slack, Okta etc. it does work and notifications are displayed and vibration happens. Slack and Okta are not installed on the Watch. Is this behavior normal and / or how can it get fixed? [link] [comments]

Posted: 20 Jul 2020 07:24 AM PDT My calories burn has significantly increased after last week's update to the latest OS. For a 5 KM walk, it used to be around 350 calories typically which has increased to about 550 calories now. I am 6'1 and about 85kgs which hasn't changed. Help please ! [link] [comments]

Posted: 19 Jul 2020 10:04 PM PDT My father is in Korea and like most Koreans used an Android phone. However I'd like to buy him an Apple Watch for the ECG feature. If I bought both the iPhone and Apple Watch here, signed into his account here (by me), activated both the phone and Apple Watch in the US with my Sim Card (my extra Freedom Pop one). Then sent it to him, will keep the feature forever? [link] [comments] |
