    Hi /r/jailbreak, I hope you all doing great :)

    Ever since I updated Barmoji tweak, people kept requesting to make it compatible with DockX, and tbh I never used it before until 3 days ago and realized how much I need it but the issue is I can't use both Barmoji and DockX in the same time so, I thought why we can't have both? then I decided to add these shortcuts to Barmoji :)

    So I update it Barmoji again, and this time I added a whole new feature called "Shortcuts", It works the same as the emojis bar but with shortcuts buttons :)

    some of the key updates:

    • You can switch between emojis and shortcuts by long-press the view.
    • You can add an unlimited number of shortcuts.
    • You can specify how many shortcuts you want to show per page.
    • Every shortcut supports one-tap and double-tap for more functionality.
    • And some other new options and fixes.

    Currently, it supports these functionalities:

    • Copy (one-tap: Copy selected text, two-taps: Copy all text).
    • Cut (one-tap: Cut selected text, two-taps: Cut all text).
    • Paste (one-tap: Paste text, two-taps: Delete all and paste).
    • Select All (one-tap: Select all text, two-taps: Delete all text).
    • Undo.
    • Redo.
    • Capitalized Case (one-tap: Capitalized last word, two-taps: Capitalized all text).
    • Upper Case (one-tap: Upper last word, two-taps: Upper all text).
    • Lower Case (one-tap: Lower last word, two-taps: Lower all text).
    • Beginning of Document
    • Ending of Document.
    • Dismiss keyboard.

    As for the moment, I'm still working on it and will release a beta version soon, to test it before releasing it to the public.

    Hi! Today ForwardNotifier moves to a new repo so it has more chances or reaching more people!

    The package in my repo will receive one last update that will update the icons and encourage people to install the one from Chariz repo. From that moment forward, every new update will be on Chariz and eventually the one on my repo will be deleted.

    In case you are a new user, here's the last post I made on ForwardNotifier, so you guys know what does this tweak do:

    New Features: - Crossplatform Server: A python script that launches on boot that provides a server for the notifications to be forwarded to! It's fast, safe, and very user friendly, since everything that it needs comes with a installation file. Works on Linux, Windows and MacOS.

    • Blacklist apps: Select apps to avoid forwarding its notifications. It's a very solicited feature that has AppList as a dependency.

    • Fix respring loop issue and some safemode crashes.

    • Fix an issue where all current notifications would be forwarded when respringing.

    • Added an option to test the notifications from within settings

    It's worth mentioning that Windows support is still in beta for SSH, if you want a better experience with Windows, I suggest you use the Crossplatform Server!

    Everything is explained in the github page.

    Please follow the README instructions carefully. Everything is explained there.

    I don't know if this is the right place, but ichitaso has been part of the jailbreak community for a long time. He's a great dev and made a lot of great tweaks that I enjoy using. But scrolling through my twitter timeline and seeing his last tweets made me worried. I don't speak Japanese so I have to rely on google translate, so hopefully it isn't as bad as it looks.

    Maybe there is someone who knows more about him and if there is any way we can help him, that would be great.

    I just hope he is ok.

    In my desperate and unsuccessful attempt to make the bloody ING Homebank app work with jb, I tried several bypass tweaks and combinations - flyjb, kernbypass, choicy, shadow, liberty lite, a-bypass.

    While none worked, I discovered that flyjb looks for a file in the root filesystem called "여자친구" which according to google translate, in Korean (the author's native language) means "girlfriend" - you can see for yourself with /binpack/usr/bin/fs_usage (I think we should thank Jonathan Levin aka @morpheus______ for these binaries...)

    I don't have resources to spend and a device to further test, but that file name makes me believe the tweak will do something if that file is present... and if that is true, I wonder what else does the tweak do to the rest of us!

    [Request] Massive battery increase and privacy benefit if someone could develop a tweak that disables WiFi Scanning and Bluetooth scanning and adding MAC address spoofing.

    Firstly a tweak that disables both WiFi and Bluetooth scanning would largely increase an iPhones battery life. I once had an Google Android phone and later purchased a de-googled android phone, the same model as the first. I ran a custom version of lineage OS that disabled WiFi and Bluetooth scanning. The de-googled android phone doubled in battery life.

    Not only would this feature increase battery life, but it would also benefit a users privacy. WiFi scanning has been used for many years as a way to gather proximity information to then be used in WiFi triangulation. This is how apple and google have been tracking us for years without our knowledge. Bluetooth scanning is a more recent feature, but it does a similar task. Being able to disable these features will benefit the people who do not want to be tracked.

    The spoofing of the MAC address would increase the users privacy. Your MAC address for WiFi and Bluetooth is logged after you come in range of a router of Bluetooth device. This MAC address is then attached to an Apple ID, phone number, or other personal information. Hence companies like Walmart know their repeat customers. Government facilities do this too. If the MAC address were to be spoofed, you would be giving these devices that log MAC addresses disinformation that would make it much more difficult to track you.

    I understand the technical differences between substrate and libhooker and why libhooker should be faster and lead to increased battery life. My question is whether anyone has compared them extensively side by side and can give an assessment regarding whether the difference is significant in practice. If the difference is significant I would like to switch, but if it's negligible I'd like to avoid setting everything up again. Thanks!

    Edit: I know I can use batchomatic but it's never worked perfectly for me
