    The day is finally upon us, in less than 10 hours WWDC 2020 will kick off! This year things are being run a little differently due to the global situation surrounding the pandemic - meaning this years event will be virtual in its entirety.

    There are a couple things us Mods would like to make everyone aware of before the event starts:

    ​

    • An hour before the event kicks off (9am PDT/12pm ET), the subreddit will be put into 'lockdown.' Meaning, no one will be able to post content to the subreddit. The subreddit will be taken out of 'lockdown' an hour after the event has concluded. The Moderators will be using a lot of discretion once the subreddit resumes posts, to remove duplicate threads. So please make an effort to check /new before you post any news etc.
    • We will not be running our own discussion megathreads (Pre-Event, Event, Post-Event). We have instead chosen to partner up with r/Apple and use their discussion threads instead, so users are at least in one place rather than having multiple discussion threads across multiple Apple subreddits. We will, however, be posting threads as things are announced and posted in blog sites when the sub is in lockdown mode - so you can discuss specific features in those threads as they are announced! We have a group of Moderators and users who have volunteered to help us with this.
    • r/iphone will be running a live thread, this is for those who can't tune in live, but still want to receive the latest info as it is revealed by Apple. The link to this live thread will be posted in a couple hours.

    Looking for a player with crossfading, that can access the music library loaded onto my iPhone or iPad.

    Also, is there a reason Apple doesn't already have this feature in the Music app?

    Client Database App Recommendations?

    Hi, my old iPad client record keeping software has been discontinued and I'm looking for another alternative.

    I used to use Bento, nothing flashy as all I needed was some input fields to store client data.

    I'm now looking for an app which does the same, but it's able to store my client information on the cloud so I can access it between my iPad and PC.

    I've looked into Tapforms, but this only supports a Mac computer.

    All the current software is a subscription and packs a load of features, graphs, etc I don't need. I only require storing some text to their record, that's all.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Is there a good Remote Desktop app for iPad with full touch support in Windows 10?

    I'm aware that the official Microsoft RDP app can do this, however the issue with RDP is;

    1. RDP disables hardware accelerated graphics when running. So apps like Solid Works and Adobe Lightroom get temporarily switched to software instead of GPU accelerated. (Unless Microsoft changed this within the last year)

    2. That little bar in the app is annoying and gets in the way. Lol

    My goal is to be able to use Solidworks on an iPad Pro maybe even with the Apple Pencil. And for when I'm home, I'd like to do the same with Lightroom, Capture One, and Luminar.

    I use a mix between Parsec and NoMachine when remoting into my Windows PC from other computers. But those each have issues.

    Parsec doesn't have an iOS app, and even their Android app is Beta. And while NoMachine does have an iOS app, from everything I have tried it doesn't have proper touch support. NoMachine will only emulate touch functions similar to Teamviewer.

    Fetch New Data - Remove Old Entry From Facebook Integration

    Running RunniRunning the latest version of iOS 13 and noticed that there is still an old entry under "FetcPasswords & Accounts settingscalled "[FIRST NAME] [LAST NAME] I belive it's an old artifact when Facebook was integrated in iOS and was never removed... Has anyone had any luck removing it? It appears to be a bug from as far baback as 2017.

    Note: It doesn't appear under the Accounts page, and removing all other accounts doesn't remove this entry.

    What TV tracking app do you use?

    I've been using iShows for a while now but just wondering if there are any better options out there. I've seen good things about TV Time. Looking for a kinda simple tracker that just simply allows me to add a show, and mark where I am in the show. It can have extras or whatever but I want that basic function to work well. Just trying to see what the consensus is for a great app!

    I need an app that records selfie video in non mirrored image

    When will Apple ever redesign iOS?
