My iPhone was replaced as part of a recall. I cannot believe the condition of the replacement! Posted: 21 Jun 2020 11:09 AM PDT My iPhone 7 was in near perfect condition, except that it fell victim to the 'no service' issue that was part of a massive recall. The program freely replaces the affected devices. So I followed through with that opportunity. When I opened the box that came back from Apple, I was simply stunned. The device was heavily gouged and scratched across most of the screen. This device should never have been QA'ed and sent to anyone as part of a replacement program. I've had great experience with Apple in the past, so my expectations were high. The device is going back to Apple, who says they may replace the screen and agreed I shouldn't have to pay for that to happen. Which is obvious - of course a customer shouldn't have to pay to repair a device that wasn't theirs and should never have been sent to them in the first place. This is just really frustrating.
