- OK I must be going crazy because I thought it would be the simplest thing to just squeeze or stretch a photo but I’ve downloaded 10 different photo editing apps now and not a single one lets you do it. They all only let you crop or resize without morphing it. I WANT to morph it.

- My microphone got water in it or something while i was checking it while making dinner
- iPhone 8 Plus stuck in boot loop, reboot has not made any difference to device & will not connect to iTunes.

| Any way to prevent apple logo from flashing when power button is pressed while powered down? Posted: 19 May 2020 08:58 PM PDT I have a 2016 iPhone SE running iOS 13.4.1. There is a hardware issue where the iPhone pretty much constantly receives input as if the top button is being pressed, even when it isn't and the 'click' of the power button appears to be working fine. In my searches it seems this needs to be replaced, which seems to be a highly challenging/technical hardware fix. I am hesitant to attempt it, but may one day However, I bought this phone second-hand simply for using while exercising due to its convenient size. So it will be powered down 97% of the time and I can manage with the screen being on the whole time the other 3%. What is highly inconvenient is that even while powered down, when the phone receives input that the top button is being pressed, the screen flashes on with the apple logo on for ~5 seconds/off ~5 seconds. This drains the battery pretty quickly even though it's powered down. Is there any way to stop this from happening? I'd hate to have to keep it charging every moment it isn't in use or else have the battery sit idle, totally drained. [link] [comments]  |

| iPhone not sending audio during phone calls Posted: 19 May 2020 07:22 PM PDT Hi everyone, first time here so any help is appreciated. Here's hoping I give you all the info you need on the first go.
iPhone 8 64GB Grey, iOS 13.4.1
I'm almost certain the phone is no longer under warranty, and if the problem is so dire that it would require repair/replacement beyond what I am able to do myself, I'll just buy a new one. So I wouldn't dwell on this.
The issue is as follows; when using the Phone app to make a call, I can hear whoever I am calling just fine, but they are unable to hear me. They are able to hear me when I plug in headphones, or use the speaker phone, but not when I hold the phone to my ear. The problem started yesterday and has been replicated on every call I've made since, regardless of the app used. (e.g. Facebook Messenger).

I have tested the microphone in the voice memo's app and it picks up sound fine. I reset the network settings on the phone as well as the general settings. I did a soft reset on the phone. I've turned off Bluetooth. I have cleaned the lightning port to the best of my ability. I have turned off noise canceling in accessibility.
The problem seemed to spring up out of no where. I haven't made any software updates or anything that might have acted as a catalyst I don't think. The strangest thing to me is that the headphones and speaker phone will both transmit audio, but not the standard mic. Furthermore, it's strange to me that the standard mic can detect sound in the voice memos app, but will not send it out over any kind of call. Thanks very much, any help is appreciated. I'll be monitoring this closely and trying anything suggested. UPDATE: I'm still testing things. When I rub my thumb over the bottom microphone in a call, the person on the other end can hear it. | Posted: 19 May 2020 06:33 PM PDT okay so this has been happening to me for so long it has now got on my last nerves. my home wifi won't load up many things on my iPhone and only my iPhone. Reddit, Twitch, Etsy, and so many webpages in safari and google chrome. I just don't understand i reset my network settings, i cleared webpage data and cookies. hell i have to stay on data just to load reddit because that's the only way these things will load. does anyone know why this is happening and why it won't load on my home wifi. I got a new phone and went to set it up, but nothing transferred over that has happened in the last four years. I purchased more iCloud space now. | Trying to recover a backup from a broken iphone Posted: 19 May 2020 06:22 PM PDT I'm trying to help my girlfriend with an issue, her iphone 7 died (repair guy said it was the motherboard) so she got a new phone (new number too, long story). She is trying to restore a backup on her pc of her old iphone to her new one (also a 7) it ask for a password though and then says the password is wrong. Is there anyway to use that backup? | Posted: 19 May 2020 11:36 AM PDT Any help? My phone had reached full storage and would not allow me to open any apps so I decided to switch the phone off and on. As I switched it off it began a boot loop by itself. I have attempted to restart (buttons - volume up, volume down & lock button) the phone multiple times, this has made no difference to the boot loop. I have now plugged the phone into iTunes, the apple logo has appeared on the screen but has made no detection to the computer or iTunes. [link] [comments]  |

Cant recover photos because i need to press a "trust" button on my phone, you cant do that without accesss to the phone. I go to get my screen replaced. He tests it, enters my passcode it works. hands it to me . I walk out. my passcode doesnt work anymore. Phone locks itself for an hour. Im just waiting stressing my blood pressure is so high. All cause these stupid security measures.... AN HOUR? REALLY? what logic is behind these stupid decisions. AND WHY DID MY PASSCODE NOT WORK ANYMORE. | Iphone 8 plus not finding the new Wifi Network!S Posted: 19 May 2020 10:17 AM PDT So I finally fixed my iphone and at the time it was working we had a different network name with a different router. The only network showing up is the old one with full bars and not the new one. I tried clicking on other and entering in the network myself but it said the network could not be found. The old one id the only one that appears but does not connect. Someone said forget this network but I cannot do that for some reason because I have never connected to it on this phone.Any ideas? | iPhone rear microphone came out Posted: 19 May 2020 05:49 AM PDT Hello! so for a while my iphone 8 plus has had some glass missing from the rear (i dropped it a few times) and as a result, the camera glass came out (not the lens.) Today, the microphone seems to have come out, and it has a bit of gold on the back with a QR code and some numbers and letters. Is this an expensive repair? I am hoping to do it myself, I have repaired an iphone 7 by replacing the back housing before, so hoping it is similar. If i buy a housing will it come with a new microphone? [link] [comments]  |
