    Find Watch in Water and More Secure Band?

    I had an Apple Watch 3 that came off in the ocean when I was surfing last year. It was right about the time that the Apple Watch 5 came out, so I bought another one. Before purchasing I went into the store to make sure that I was getting the correct band so it wouldn't happen again. I was advised to purchase the Sport which is what I had in the previous version. The 5 has been amazing. But...Yesterday, it fell off my wrist while I was surfing and it's sitting in the ocean somewhere here in San Diego. The water was only a couple of feet deep but I still couldn't find it after searching for about 30 minutes. That's the second one that's done that in less than a year. It's weird. I didn't get worked by a wave or anything extreme. It's just a bummer decayed it's the second one I've had to buy because of this.

    2 questions: 1. is there anyway to track it under water? ( I'm pretty sure there isn't).
    2. the sports band has failed on me twice when surfing (both times in small waves with low impact). Is there another band that's better? I can't afford a new watch now but maybe after saving money for a while I'll get a used one or something. But I def don't want to lose it again.

    Notifications don’t show up in the Watch notification center if iPhone is in „Do not disturb“-Mode

    Hey guys,

    wonder if anybody else noticed that and if there's a way to fix? I like to have my phone in do not disturb, and it would seem intuitive and the natural thing to be able to check my messages / notifications in the Apple Watch notification center, even if the watch didn't vibrate / ring, when the message arrived. Somehow they don't appear there though, only on my phones lock screen.

    Am I missing some hidden settings or what could be the reason? Thanks.

    (iPhone X and Watch S5 on newest versions)

    Series 1 Apple Watch swollen battery

    My series 1 Apple Watch screen popped off due to a swollen battery. I contacted Apple and they replaced my watch within a week of sending in, they put a pending charge on my card for $200 and told me they would let me know how much the fix would be, of course my watch is out of warranty. I received what looks to be a refurbished Apple Watch series 1. I checked my Apple card and the pending charge disappeared. Had this watch since 2015. I love Apple. In case anyone has any doubts of getting their watch replaced due to it being a series 1 watch, looks like they are replacing them. Hope this helps anyone out!

    Apple Watch S5 - 40mm Gold Aluminum Case w/ Pink Sand Sport Band - Swap strap for a guy?

    Hi everyone. So I ended up getting a great deal on a Apple Watch S5 - 40mm Gold Aluminum Case w/ Pink Sand Sport Band and being a guy, was looking to swap out the pink strap with a different colour.

    I wanted to get your input on some good watch band colour combinations that would look good for a guy. Also do you think the aluminum gold is suitable for a guy? I feel the pink sports band adds a tint of pink to it, while pairing it with another colour (black/navy blue I was thinking?) it may look alright.

    I have installed Musixmatch on my watch but can't get the lyrics from songs streamed from my iPhone to display. Looked on the developer's website but couldn't find an answer. However, if I pull the iPhone out of my pocket, Musixmatch is showing them. Would be grateful for any guidance.

    How come sometimes i get ring notifications mid workout and others after?

    sometimes i'll be mid workout and i'll close either my exercise or move rings. my watch will vibrate mid workout to let me know this. other times, it'll notify me as soon as i end the workout, like it didn't wanna disturb me
