Apple Help Why would it finish charging at 5 if it’s on 82%?

I remember there was a modified version of wineskin winery that allowed 32 bit windows apps to run on x64 macos. I can't remember what it was called or where it was found though. Only that I had it before I wiped my mac clean. Does anyone here know where I can find that?

Macbook Air 2020 abruptly restarts

i got the macbook air 2020 about late march and it keeps on restarting for no reason when i'm doing work. it has happened about three times but i'm concerned since it's brand new.

does anyone know whats causing this and how i can possibly fix it?

Does anyone know why Apple Music has trouble playing certain songs?

Maybe it's a WiFi thing but on my iPad, but Apple Music just refuses to play certain songs while the others are just fine. My device currently at the latest version; Idk maybe I might just have to restart it :/

Is it worth buying the HomePod? Are they replacing/upgrading it?

I see it's on sale again for $200. I'm being told if I'm an audiophile I will notice the difference.

Here's my problem. I have a 16'' MacBook Pro. If it only sounds AS good as that laptop's speakers, I don't see the point.

Unable to access Iphone 6s after multiple attempts of trying to enter password.

I am currently locked out of my Iphone 6s after setting a password I have now forgotten. I can not find anyway to factory reset or unlock my phone without access to all of it. All it says now is, "Iphone is disabled. Connect to Itunes." Which I never thought to set up in the past.

2012 MBP: Upgrade or move in?

My wife has a MBP from 2012. It's in decent shape physically, and once it gets going it works pretty okay. It only has 4 GB of RAM and a SATA HD, both of which are likely a big part of why it feels so slow. The battery also needs to be serviced. So we are contemplating upgrading it to an SSD HD, 8(16?)GB RAM, and fixing the battery.

What do you think an estimated cost of those upgrades/repairs might be? We have reached out to a few people for a quote but feeling curious in the interim. Is it worth it, or is she better off getting a new computer (she would likely go for the base model MBA if she went this route.)

Apple TV Podcast app interrupting while watching videos.

this is only started happening in the last week. I'll be watching YouTube or a video or even just have the home screen of Apple TV on and without doing anything the podcast app will open and go to the first podcast in the list as if it's gonna play it and then it doesn't and it just stays on that screen.

Anyone else having this issue? Anyone have any ideas of how to fix?

Found my old iPhone 1 and want to transfer photos off before wiping it, but it might not be compatible with my Mac?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to transfer photos off of an iPhone 1 nowadays? We're worried that trying to plug it into our 2011 iMac running its latest software (High Sierra) and transfer them that way won't work due to software incompatibility after many years of hardware and software changes, and could even ask to wipe it if it isn't associated with the right computer. Is this still possible, and if not, what would be the best approach to take?

How can I add an audio book to my "Books" app and sync on all devices?

So I've got an audio book in MP3 files and I'm trying to add it to the "Books" app, I want to listen to them on a few devices throughout my day.

On my macbook I've dragged and dropped the files into the book app and it works perfectly, but I assumed it'd show up on my phone (like they do when you upload mp3s to Apple Music.)

Can anyone help?

Pics not showing up on my desktop

I have a 2013 Macbook Pro, with High Sierra being my OS. For the last few weeks now, pictures that I drag and drop onto my desktop don't show up anywhere on my desktop. The weird thing, though, is that they're being saved in the desktop "space." When I open up finder, and go to look at the files saved to the desktop that way, they're all there. But in terms of actually appearing in any way on my desktop, they're nowhere to be found. Any ideas what's going on or how to fix it?

Working Volume Keys with Multi-Output Device?

Hi board!
Just installed Soundflower as I wanted to capture the audio output of my Mac (running Catalina).

I configured a Multi-Output Device so I can have outgoing sound as well with the built in speakers.

Everything works great... except for the fact I have no volume control with the Keyboard keys.

Is there any way I could enable it?

TikTok doesn't send me notifications.

Hello everyone!

Im posting this here since the last community I asked never replied.

I recently got TikTok and after realizing my push notifications weren't coming through, I went on a search to solve my issue. I've done the following;

- Turned on app notifications from my settings app

- Turned on app notifications in the TikTok app

- Restarting my iPhone

- Reinstalling TikTok

Whenever I log on to the app, I see in the bottom bar that I have notifications, but I still don't receive push notifications.

I have an iPhone X with screen time down time set up. The down time is only to block certain apps. I suspect that it might be the reason for the app not allowing notifications.

P.S. I can't turn off my down time, i'm not allowed. :)
