    Apple TV 4K won’t work unless HDMI input is changed randomly

    Hi everyone, I've been having a weird issue for a bit now and I'm unsure what's going on.

    Recently every few days (maybe 3-4?) my Apple TV will just stop giving a signal. Either it doesn't load up properly, or while switching menus mainly it cuts out to no signal and will for a brief moment flash what should be on the screen.

    I've reset the Apple TV, unplugged and plugged everything in multiple times, the only thing that fixes it is...changing the HDMI port, and it seems to keep recurring like I said every few days.

    I've updated the Apple TV, and no settings have been touched, it was working fine before and the only change I made is I physically rearranged the room moving the full TV and Apple TV setup.

    However I can't understand why this would cause the Apple TV to drop a signal and then be fine upon switching the ports.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Bravia Sync (HDMI CEC) not working when plugging in Apple TV 4K

    Bravia Sync was working fine whenever I press the PlayStation button on my DualShock 4 and Home Button on the Sky Q remote, taking me back and forth.

    However when I bought and plugged in the Apple TV 4K. Bravia sync stopped working for all of my devices and I can no longer switch between devices by pressing their home buttons. I tried restarting the devices and TV and checked the Bravia Sync list however no luck. What can be done to fix this?

    Any way to change the variation of the aerial screensavers?

    I have the same 4 ones from yesterday. I'm not sure why it only cycles through a random selected few, but it kinda takes away from these awesome screensavers. I just got my apple tv this week and would like to see which other screensavers there are but it seems like it decides that for me, and not really sure when or why it changes the stock. Anyone know?

    Mirroring Question

    I'm in the very early stages of trying to figure out a way to mirror and control my iPhone from my car's radio screen which does not have any sort of stock ability to do that.

    An idea I have for wireless mirroring involves using an Apple TV but I've got a few questions that I'm pretty sure this sub could help me with.

    Can I mirror my iPhone to an Apple TV wirelessly without a router? Just the phone and the Apple TV.

    This question is more about the phone itself. When mirroring, does the phone screen need to stay on? If say I'm running Google Maps on the phone and want to mirror that to the radio screen, would the phone screen need to be on too?

    If the phone screen needs to be on for mirroring, is there any way around that without jailbreaking the phone (if that's even possible anymore)?

    Universal search broken when Siri set to English (US)

    Hi! So for the last few days my Apple TV 4K has been acting weird when searching with Siri. Normally I could just say something like "Batman" and get results. That hasn't been working for me since Monday. I'd get an error saying "something's wrong. Try again later".

    I tried rebooting the ATV, router, modem. Unplugged everything. Tried various connection types. Nothing seems to fix it.

    I randomly decided to switch Siri from English (US) to English (Canada) and now everything works just fine. After trying other options in the Siri language drop down I I noticed that all of them work except for English (US).

    I can't figure out a way to fix this. I tried deleting the history and rebooting. But still nothing.

    Seems odd to me this one specific option stopped working :/

    Unrecognized emails in "previously used emails" list when adding a new account

    I had this appletv for the last 4 years hardly used.

    Today I decided to add my friends account, but when I chose to enter new account I saw a long list of emails that I never used on this appletv or any other Apple device I had.

    What does this supposed to mean?

    Bought an iPhone, do I get a year of AppleTV + ?

    Just bought an iPhone SE for the frau, I don't see anything from Apple about AppleTV+. Check Eligibility in the Apple Store sends me to the ATV app, but nothing about getting a year free.

    I'm looking for a device to connect to the tv which can access and stream files that are stored in the hdd which is connected via usb to my router. I think I heard somewhere that the appletv hardware can do this by running the vlc app? Do all appletv boxes do this? as I think I can probably pick up an older model pretty cheap.
