Posted: 17 Apr 2020 10:22 PM PDT 1-The exploit is specifically a bootrom exploit, meaning it's taking advantage of a security vulnerability in the initial code that iOS devices load when they boot up. And since it's ROM (read-only memory), it can't be overwritten or patched by Apple through a software update, so it's here to stay. (Affected iPhones 4s-X) 2-for this reason in the jailbreak community think that this phones being the last with this exploit are going to increase in value at some point [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 18 Apr 2020 12:49 AM PDT SO for some reason my iphone x screen has gone black but when i press the side button the black lights up alittle and when i press it again it goes fully black as if its still working. Has anyone had this issue before or suggest what i could do? i have a screen repair kit to pull the phone apart if need be? [link] [comments]  |
