| IPhone 8 always attempts to put certain words into all caps Posted: 08 Apr 2020 11:22 PM PDT Usually words like AND, JUST, DONT, etc THAT you may want to emphasize. I have no clue why it does this. It started a few months ago and it's driving me crazy. Sometimes I'll type it several times and each time I cancel it it will just go back and replace it again. It doesn't do it every time I type these words, but very often. I've been trying to search if anyone else has this issue but haven't found much. Has anyone experienced it or know what might be causing it and how to fix it? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 08 Apr 2020 10:50 PM PDT This happened suddenly, and I was deleting and adding photos just fine beforehand. For some reason, my phone refuses to allow me to add or delete photos. When I try it shows that they are deleted but if I re-open the photos app they are all back. This included deleting or recovering proofs from recently deleted. It also doesn't let me share screenshots before they get added to my camera roll, as it just says "preparing" and freezes. It doesn't allow me to add photos to files either [link] [comments]  |

The calls come to our workers' cell phones from a 6-digit number, which is recognized by Android and iPhone devices as spam calls. Any help would be appreciated. | Posted: 08 Apr 2020 10:13 PM PDT I have an iPhone 6s my AppStore worked this morning about twenty minutes ago I tried to download an app and it would not let me everytime I typed my password nothing happened so I logged out and now it will not let me log back in everytime I type it in nothing happens it loads then just goes back to nothing like I never did anything no error message or anything. I am upgrading to a new phone and wanted to sync everything so everything would transfer over to the new phone. I went to sync on the phone and synced everything. However; my bookmarks are gone and replaced with other bookmarks (presumably ones which were synced to the account originally) and the same goes for my history. The accounts that I were signed in on some websites unsigned in. Is it possible for me to view my old history/bookmarks/etc? Edit: I also chose to not combine data. Did I delete everything? Edit 2: I went and downloaded all of my bookmarks from the google account but the bookmarks that I had before on my phone are not there. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 08 Apr 2020 07:46 PM PDT I have an iphone 8 running the newest ios and my screen is having issues. I got the phone second hand with a new screen replacement. But it had a small drop and i thing it's what's causing the issue. Whenever the brightness is up the bottom of my screen mimics the top. i can see about a quarter of the top of my screen at the bottom. My screen isn't unresponsive ever and it's flickering at the bottom. Is it hardware related or software related? As i said it had a small drop nothing major. Thanks!! [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 08 Apr 2020 04:05 PM PDT For the past few weeks, (conveniently when I can't replace it) I have had this problem where the phone (xr) just shuts off at around 30%. There is no battery drain problem, just that it dies too early. It seems like the battery indicator is not accurate but I don't think that is a real thing that can happen. And yes I checked my battery health it is at 100% but it hasn't even told me there was an unexpected shutdown. This leads me to believe that the phone was not actually at 30% when it died but was actually at 1%. Further evidence of this is shown when I try to turn it on by plugging it in and it takes a good few minutes rather than instantly. What is going on here? I really think that the battery indicator is miscalibrated but I know that is not a real thing. So what is going here? I kinda want to know if there is anything I can do to stop this because I can't really replace it right now. I have only had the phone for 7 months, the battery life itself is ok, and the battery health is at 100%. This is weird [link] [comments]  |

How easy is it to move files around, create folders and access a local server. I'm also very organized and have all my photos in folders but from what I see ios has a large camera roll where everything is dumped in there. You can create folders and move the pics but they all stay in camera roll so it's just like a tag? [link] [comments]  |

I have tried restarting, restoring, and everything else I have found online. It is like it is overworking and it just shots down to protect itself. Posted: 08 Apr 2020 09:32 AM PDT This has just started happening within the last few days and i have no idea why and its making me want to switch from iPhone permanently. No matter what i'm listening through if i get a notification it lowers the volume drastically and i can not hear my music or anything else at all till i either one turn the volume up or two slide up as if i'm changing apps and then it fixes. Its any and all notifications causing this not just one type. It happens in my car on Bluetooth. Happens when i use my airpods.. happens when my phone is using speakers. Even happens when my phone is on and in my hands while watching something!!!!!
