how many times would you replace the battery vs getting a new phone? Posted: 13 Apr 2020 07:24 PM PDT so i have an iphone 7 and it still works pretty perfectly even after a little over two years. the only thing is that battery isn't great - battery health is at 90%, and i know that's still pretty good, but it's annoying i can't get through the whole day without it giving me a "20% battery left" notification. (i've looked up the battery saving tips.) when this pandemic is over, i'm probably going to get the battery replaced, just because i take a lot of public transit and don't want to risk a low battery. this will be my second replacement. the first happened less than six months after i got it, but that was some kind of fluke and the apple store employee said so because it drained fast. battery health has been declining ever since, but at a much slower rate. anyway, that got me thinking: how often would you replace a battery before you got a new phone? like, if you have to replace it multiple times, the cost adds up. i'm not replacing my 7 until i have to, as nice as a "fancier" phone would be. but i'm hoping i don't have to replace the battery again after this future second time. Rank the iPhone from best looking to least - design Posted: 13 Apr 2020 02:48 PM PDT To me, they have not looked better since the iPhone 5 (5S) and 4 (4S). [link] [comments] | ||
The smaller notch looks ugly if it’s real Posted: 13 Apr 2020 07:08 PM PDT I'm going to miss the way the notch is if it's real in those pictures of the supposed iPhone 12. I think the notch is just fine the way it is. They should either keep it or remove it but not make it smaller because it looks ugly. Am I the only one? [link] [comments] |
