What are your favourite non-default watch apps Posted: 21 Apr 2020 03:08 AM PDT I've download a few - Strava, Nomi, Nano, but what are some other apps with good or cool features that work kinda well on the watch? Also, it's quite frustrating that the watch doesn't have a good App Store, and there's nowhere to show all the apps you can get, and not just the ones that Apple wants to promote on the main page [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Apr 2020 06:16 AM PDT I have never owned a fit bit or Apple Watch etc but I have just been told you can download snapchat etc and Instagram on Apple watches ,i was so Oblivious that a Apple Watch can do that, also I was working on a till the other day and someone paid off there watch I was thinking wow it was such a huge incentive in me wanting to buy a Apple Watch. However may I ask which is best value for money? And which watch is the lowest series I can download snapchat and Instagram on etc.Any help would be massively appreciated ,also I do a lot of running and I like using the Nike run club am I able to download that app or do I have to get the specific series with Nike from Nike online? Posted: 21 Apr 2020 06:16 AM PDT Hello everyone! Does anyone use a Polar H10 heart rate sensor with the Apple Watch? As far as I understand, it directly connects to the watch via Bluetooth and simply "replaces" the sensor data from the watch with its own. Please tell me if I'm right. I will use native workout app and Nike Run Club. [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Apr 2020 05:55 AM PDT Please help as I'm baffled, my series one Apple watch will not stay charged even when it's on the charger, so I purchased a new battery and changed that over yesterday and I put it on the charger for a good overnight charge and before I went to bed I noticed it was at 80% but when I woke up this morning it was down to 20% what the hell is going on here my old battery did that as well. Posted: 21 Apr 2020 02:55 AM PDT I have a s4 watch with cellular, but I don't have a plan currently as I don't think I need it. If I make a call on the watch with cellular (without my phone) is there a speaker and mic on the watch that work, or do I have to have ear/headphones with a mic to make the call with? Silent Hypoxia - An Argument for Pulse Oximeters in Apple Watches Posted: 20 Apr 2020 11:06 PM PDT Yes, I am aware of the potential downsides of a rumored pulse oximeter in Apple Watches as previously discussed in multiple posts in this subreddit, but the following article about "silent hypoxia" in general can be applied to bolster the argument that the benefits of a personal pulse oximeter in a smart watch could outweigh the potential downsides. IF IF IF the current watch hardware can actually support pulse oximeter functions with a worthy amount of accuracy (again, yes, I know this is just a rumor and many people don't believe this functionality will be possible), it sure would be great if Apple would make the feature available on any supporting hardware as soon as it gets regulatory approval. Some people insisted the ECG function would create chaos for cardiologists and emergency rooms but that hasn't turned out to be true. No doubt the following article will be "too long, didn't read" for some people but it casts light on why some people appear to be doing OK one day and then go downhill so fast with coronavirus due to silent hypoxia which can be detected early with a pulse oximeter. It is worth a read: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/20/opinion/coronavirus-testing-pneumonia.html [link] [comments]
How do I sync my custom watch faces between my two apple watches? Posted: 21 Apr 2020 02:51 AM PDT I have a series 4 and series 5 Apple Watch and have set up custom faces on one of them. Is there a way to transfer those custom faces to the other watch automatically or do I have to recreate them separately on each? [link] [comments] |
