    It sucks because I would really love for optimize my phone for my everyday life but if I can't even have my phone start playing music automatically when it connects to my car without it still requiring me to tap "run" every time then what's the damn point. The shortcuts app has a lot of potential but right now all it can really do is make something that would require 2, sometimes 3, button presses only need 1. Which while cool still isn't very practical.

    TL;DR: Whether it should or should not make you press "run" is not the point. The point I'm making is that it shouldn't be called an automation if it's not automatic.

    Hey all I'm a huge fan of IPhone 7, I can upgrade anytime but choose not to because this phone does it all.

    Prob is it's starting to get laggy, dictation (left button of the space bar) is not working as fast. I have 200gig of iCloud storage and all is backed up/living on the cloud, what can I do to make my phone faster?

    In the past two weeks around this time, I went to somewhere and I had to enter a code. I wrote the code in my note. Today, Siri suggested the same note on my Lock Screen. THIS IS VERY COOL.

    I use Infuse 6 for my movies etc but i need something that does the same for audio. Being able to use audio from my google drive is way more convenient than using itunes.

    I have a problem with my IPhone 7

    I downloaded a game. It asked me to install 700+mb of additional data, so I did it. Game worked fine.

    But when I exited and reopened the game, it asks me to downaload the same 700+mb data again. And when I do, the game works fine with all the progress I had made before.

    This has happened with 2 different games ie; Shadow fight 2 and One Piece : Bounty Rush. Can anyone help ?

    Is it just me or does this kind of suck for everyone? My Dadaist location is nowhere near my home so I always need city or zip code and that is IF it even loads any locations at all. Is it just me?

    Saw the notification on my iPad this morning about the updated Maps app so I decided to try it out this morning on my way to work, and WOW! The map display is gorgeous! So much nicer than Google or Waze, which is my current favorite.

    I did notice a few odd glitches, like the map zooming out to an overhead view when it should have stayed with the 3D view, and for a minute it couldn't decide whether it was day or night, but overall I like it a lot.

    I do wish that Apple would copy a few features from Waze, such as the over speed warning (easy) and the crowd sourced traffic data (which they probably won't do because of privacy concerns). I also wish that I didn't have to tap "end route" after getting to my destination.

    Going to give it a try for a month and see how it goes.

    Sustained dictation without pausing for longform writing.

    Does anyone have experience with using dictation for longform writing? I find it difficult to do because dictation pauses constantly and has to be restarted. Besides the interruption factor, another side effect of restarting is that it capitalizes the next word, even if you were in the middle of a sentence.

    I'm wondering if there are any specific applications that sustain dictation without the pausing and restarting behavior, allowing "writing by voice" with less interruption.

    Simply put, I just want the device to listen for dictation until I specifically tell it to stop listening.

    Airplay 2 and Siri

    I recently purchased an Airport Express so that I can make a pair of analog monitors Airplay 2 compatible. Setup was fairly easy, and on the AirPlay section of the Airport Express I named the speakers "bedroom speakers". Everything was fairly well, accept that when I ask Sri to play something on my bedroom speakers, she replies with something along the lines of "I don't see any speakers called 'bedroom speakers'".

    Wondering if anyone came across something similar or has figured out a fix.

    Just went to ipsw.me and cannot download any of the current signed ipsw's !

    These are 13.3 and 13.3.1

    Anyone in same boat, or have a solution ?

    Is there any other host apart from Apple ?

    Of course, I'd do the checksums to verify if its the legit file !

    Why can I hit the mic on the keyboard and say "shit happens" and it types it, but if I trace type it, it won't do it?

    I know the answer to the latter — Apple's morality filter that cannot be disabled. There are a bunch of words you can't trace type, like murder, ammo... when iOS 13 released, we came up with a few. And that's in addition to the profanity. Everyone knows if you trace "fuck" it's gonna give you "duck" every damn time.

    So, why doesn't the morality filter apply to voice typing? I'm pretty sure when Google does it, I'm not sure where, I haven't actually seen this in a few years, but you get stars in the middle. Like if I dictate "fuck you," some Google service, I forget which, gives you "f**k you." That's fine. I get that. It's not changing what I say to something else, it's just trying to be somewhat civil about it, if that makes sense.

    I get Apple has always been big with education, and students, and I think the "I'm a grown man/woman, I should be able to swear on an iPhone" is another debate entirely... I'm just wondering why one lets you and the other doesn't.

    Infuse 6 will play icloud media ?

    My icloud isnt able to play media that is an MKV file so i was wondering if Infuse 6 can do this for me ? or is there a free option that can the same thing ?
