Why do MacBooks score relatively higher on CineBench but lower in GeekBench? Posted: 27 Feb 2020 09:57 PM PST So I ran my MBP (i5-8279U) vs my coworker's XPS 2-in-1 (i7-1065G7) for the hell of it, and it scored 10% higher in Cinebench, but also 15% lower in GeekBench. Is this because of the TDP? Or perhaps because the implementation is different for both of the tests? Anyone know the specific/technical explanation? submitted by /u/lifeishardwithahardr [link] [comments] |
