Does a good monthly view calendar app exist on iPhone?

    Posted: 04 Dec 2019 11:27 AM PST

Backstory is that I literally switched from iPhone to a Pixel two years ago because I hated all the calendar options. Now having an Android is messing up all my text messages because everyone in my life uses an iPhone - I'm ready to go back because the iPhone 11 Pro's camera looks awesome but I'm still looking for a decent calendar app.

I'm currently using Business Calendar 2 (Android Only) - I'm wondering if anyone know of any comparable apps available for iOS. I've searched high and low but still don't seem to see anything remotely close. My dream calender, Sol Calendar (Also only on Android) is no longer available - in case anyone would like another reference. Sounds silly but I love being able to have emojis showing when I see my monthly view calendar.

Update: I download and bought an app that works although it was a splurge and quite expensive. Unlikely that I will even need any of the actual functions. It's called Informant! It's only free if you have an Apple calendar to sync. For Google I had to pay $24.99 for the year.

When will iPhone 11 be manufactured in India?

    Posted: 05 Dec 2019 07:52 AM PST

There are reports saying that Apple has begun to manufacture iPhone Xr in India and iPhone 11 is next in the line. iPhone Xr is priced at ₹47,900 ($672) and iPhone 11 is priced at ₹64,900 ($910). Not only is the price difference between the two is much larger ₹17,000 ($238) compared to $100 in the US but the affordable iPhone 11 is not affordable at all for most people. So my questions are, is the iPhone Xr being sold in India at the moment manufactured in India? Or is the cheaper price because of the aggressive price cuts by Apple to gain market share in India? Are manufactured in India iPhone available to buy in the market right now? When will iPhone 11 be manufactured in India and be available to purchase? How much of a price cut is expected for the iPhone 11?

The removal of the headphone jack is quite possibly the biggest mistake in apple history...

    Posted: 05 Dec 2019 02:23 AM PST

Every lightning headphone splitter available on the market is prone to systematic failure after about 2 weeks, to three months, with some reaching up to 6 months at most. This in turn causes the consumer to have to go out and buy a new freaking dongle every couple of months or so, just so that one can charge and call/listen to music simultaneously. Although, this may not be a new issue, IPhone 7's (+, above) are still very relevant as of today, which leaves me no choice but to depart from apple by switching over to android just so that business/family/relationship calls aren't interrupted by the need to charge. This decision of ignorance made by apple— for those who're applicable to whom this business model has negatively targeted, will technically have to pay monthly (on average) for a functioning dongle solely due to the negligence and inconsideration of apple (who most definitely did this to benefit Chinese businesses for profit out of 3rd party ware). I'm sure that many who feel this way acknowledge that every dongle marketed by every retailer will have reviews no higher than one to three stars max, because of how poorly designed these third-party alternatives are. Why doesn't apple just make their own, or revert back to the 3.5?
