    [Discussion] Don’t delete unc0ver app if revoked!

    I don't take any credit for this (I can't find the original post) but if it helped me twice already it should help you. If your unc0ver app was revoked there is a way to jailbreak again, just don't delete the unc0ver app. (Sorry for explaining this long)

    1. Go to "settings" scroll down to "safari" & open it.

    2. Scroll down till you see "Clear History and Website Data" & click on it. (Do not exit settings yet)

    3. Open control centre & put your device in "airplane" mode but make sure wifi is turned off too.

    4. Exit settings & open the unc0ver app & re-able your internet connection. Wait till your have a connection & press jailbreak.

    5. If not working close the unc0ver app & repeat the process. It will work after 2-3 tries.

    6. Your phone will probably boot into safe mode but just respringed or start all over again.

    I'm on iOS 12.4 iP7+

    [RELEASE] iPhone 11 Camera UI-Shutter Fix & Enabling High Key Light Mono Effect with Supercharger

    Edit: Added enable iPhone 11 Camera UI option, no need seperate tweak for camera now.

    First of all, it's my first submission to community and only tried on my iPhone X, so there might be bugs. :)

    Thanks to Supercharge tweak and u/kabiroberai , i finally enabled high key mono effect on my iPhone X and fixed iPhone 11 camera tweaks shutter button fix.

    Also thanks to u/melita1 for the idea and help!

    Note: I tried with NewCam beta only, because it fixes aspect ratio texts. Thanks u/Jbrownllama !

    To install these;

    1. Download Supercharge tweak
    2. Download Supercharge tweaks below
    3. In Filza, open downloaded file with Supercharge
    4. Install in Supercharge
    5. Done!

    iPhone 11 Camera UI with High Key Mono

    Enables iPhone 11 camera UI and high key light mono effect.

    iPhone 11 Camera UI - Shutter Fix

    This Supercharge tweak fixes the shutter button problem in 11 camera ui. Also it disables triple zoom function and use original options. (1x , 2x)

    Note: It disables hold to video feature to fix.

    Note: Some live photos might be converted to videos, it's because 11 cam ui. Not supercharge tweaks.

    It enables the XS specific portrait effect simply.

    [Meta] Is It Piracy?

    With signing services as unreliable as they are these days, and many community members are not able to use checkra1n for a variety of reasons, many have turned to other methods of finding a usable version of unc0ver or Chimera - not jailbreaks.fun or unc0ver.dev. This has led the mod team to block any sources that they deemed as pirated - by their definition a source of unc0ver or Chimera that was uploaded without the developer permission. I will only speak on unc0ver here, because it is the jailbreak tool I use on my devices.

    This censorship leads to some interesting questions;

    ​

    1. Unc0ver uses the 3-clause BSD GNU GPL1. No terms of this license require permission for usage of the source code of binary in any way or form. In fact, the purpose of the GPL was to ensure that software can be shared and modified freely (meaning without restriction, not without payment) without permission of the copyright holder. So with that in mind, how are any other signing services "pirating" unc0ver?
    2. The mod team has indicated that one reason they don't approve or certain signing services is that they have links or software that promotes pirating of other's works; they do not want the sub to associated with any pirating. They state in the rules, any "... tools, sources, or websites... [p]romoting the use of any programs which is used for piracy"2 are not allowed. However, isn't this view hypocritical? Jailbreaking your phone does not directly allow you to pirate apps, but it does allow you to install tweaks or other apps that will.
    3. There is a specific software that has been useful, especially recently, that has allowed the installation of uc0ver for many members of this community, but any mention of it is removed under the no piracy rules, and can lead to a ban from the sub. Considering the above points/questions together, is this tool really in violation of the rules? If it is used to install an app that allows for free use, is it piracy? If certain other, unrelated, functions can be used to pirate other software (which I am not sure if it does or not, I have not used it in that capacity), can it not be argued that its use is no different than that of jailbreaking a phone - one whose main stated purpose is not to pirate, but to violate terms of service for customization, but has a "side effect" of allowing for pirating?

    I may be completely wrong in my analysis, but I think it deserves questioning and discussion.

    TL;DR: Is unc0ver pirating really pirating?

    [Request] Update Appaze for ios 13

    [HELP] I recently got an Iphone X with ios 13.2.3 and the same day i got it, i jailbroke it with no problem. A couple days ago I installed Filza, Relocate and DZSNAP at the same time. When it was respringing, the phone restarted and was unjailbroken.

    I tried numerous time with different version and different macs to try and rejailbreak but it would finish booting with the Checkra1n logo and show the apple signal for 1-2 minutes with it restating about 3 times during the startup. Then when the phone actually turns in, its not jailbroken.

    One of my favorite tweaks but it doesn't work on my iPhone 7 running 13.2.3 🥺

    I know this was posted about a month but since reddit doesn't have the "bump" feature I figured I'd just ask again!

    Or if anyone knows of a tweak with similar functionality that would be great!

    [HELP] Can't jailbreak on Checkra1n, "there is a problem with the iPhone that requires it to be updated or restored"

    The tool or I can put the phone into recovery, however, it won't ever start the jailbreak process as the tool will ask me to just put my phone in DFU again, even if when the tool just put it there. The phone itself was just completely restored, so I'm not sure why it pops up an error on iTunes. Any ideas??

    Hey! Sorry I have a bunch of questions. Background info- im running unc0ver on ios12.4 on an iPhone 8 right now. Obviously Apple stopped signing certificates and mine is gone right now (I am in an unjailbroken state currently). I was thinking of making the transition over to checkra1n from unc0ver.

    1) Do I need to be in jailbreak mode to switch to Checkra1n?

    2) If I switch over - will I lose any tweaks? I'm assuming all my tweaks will stay the same because I'll still be on ios12.4.

    3) I didn't fully grasp what the caveat of Checkra1n was... is it if my phone dies or turns off, I can't use my phone again? or I can use the phone in a non-jailbreak state (until I rejailbreak it on a computer)?

    4) I've read that you can do Checkra1n on unc0ver by mounting etc... Not sure what the ramifications are for that? Should I completely just move over to Checkra1n and how do I do that via unc0ver? I don't want to try the mounting thing cus I have zero experience using Filza. Or is it very easy to do and what are the advantages of having both?

    -Fixed the iOS 13 issue, the pop-up will appear when you try to slide to power off (because apple decided to change some functions from 12 to 13)

    -Added support for A12 devices

    -Fixed not appearing text

    Clarifications about the tweak :

    -No that's not a copy of PowerGuard. PowerGuard prevent people from shutting down using TouchID/FaceID

    -This tweak has not been to really secure your device, it has just been on a funny purpose to make your friends laugh

    -If you don't care about a custom message, use activator and stop saying to me that's this tweak is useless, because i had to start to make tweak by a simple one
