    How to check what Android apps exist on ios?

    I want to migrate from Android to iPhone and was told that somr apps are paid in ios where not in Android.

    I was wondering if there is a way to figure out what apps exist in both platforms and which apps are paid.

    Is there any official tool to do this?

    Apple Security - do you share your credentials with anyone? What happens when you die?

    I have a few Apple devices, and I don't share my credentials with anyone. I updated my will recently, and some of the info to fill out was your passwords for your executor/beneficiary to access your accounts, email, encryption keys, etc.

    First, my passwords change periodically. Second, any files my family may want are saved to an external drive. Third, what if you have info you'd rather not have people rifling through once your gone?

    Given a preference, I'd like someone in the family to be able to use my device once it's wiped clean. Given Apple's security level, it would be nice if you could designate someone to be able to reuse a device (even a MacBook) but to clear out your data first. We haven't begun to reckon with a digital graveyard we will leave behind.

    So the iPad doesn't have (has never had) a Taptic engine or any sort of haptic feedback, even with the implementation of haptic touch in iOS 13 (it doesn't even make sense to call it 'haptic' touch).

    With this, I'd push to test the use of the iPad speakers or sound effects for a similar 'haptic' response. Maybe a sound effect or "speaker vibrate/thud/hum", similar to how the fake clicking sound is made on the newer MacBook trackpads.

    While others may say it might affect audio playback, but think about how 'keyboard clicks' are implemented in iOS. This proposed "haptic sound" mechanism might just work similarly to how these keyboard effects are made. The rest may say it would make no difference or there would be no need for it, but just think again at how it adds a whole new dimension on UI and screen interaction.

    Especially for the iPad Pro users, this haptic 'sound' could make a difference, knowing that a physical Taptic engine may not even be added to future iPad models (it would be lovely if they did, maybe 2 of it would do due to the iPad's size, or a new taptic engine design).

    How come my battery widget doesn’t show when I am connected to Bluetooth? Any ideas. It’s says it’s connected when I enable Bluetooth but didn’t show in widgets.

    Just came back from an evening out. Noticed my phone and iPad are more snappy than usual. Not that they are slow normally, but it feels more snappy than they usually are.

    So freaky. Anyone experiencing the same? Could this be background sync (iCloud) finished running or something?

    Why do I need iMazing?

    When ever my partner or I try and transfer our photos from our iphones (7 + 8) i get an error that the phone can no longer be accessed. I get the same issue on a Windows 10 Desktop, Windows 10 Laptop and a Windows 8.1 laptop. Searching online, i have found a few people with the same issues as me and there never seems to be a fix except for 3rd party software.

    I tried using iCloud but after paying for 3 months, my photos have uploaded and my partners have not... so there's still +30gb of photos and movies to upload and I'm over it, i want the photos now.

    Is there anything i can do to get my photos for free, in a timely manner, without any quality loss?. I just trialed iMazing and it worked flawlessly and I'm about to purchase it BUT I feel I shouldn't really need third party software for something as simple as getting photos off a phone.

    Does AdGuard Pro use a lot of battery?

    The title is my question - iPhone 11 Pro iOS 13.3. Just wondering because I hear a ton of great things about it but don't know how it works. Does it run in the background all the time and suck battery or do I have to turn it on manually each time I get on safari?

    iMessage Question

    I cannot add my wife's apple email address to iMessage. It states that she already has an ID. What I would like to do is just have her ID on iMessage but leave my ID for the rest of the iPad. Is it possible? This way we have contacts, calendar, photos, etc. sync'd to all other devices but iMessage is her's. Can it be done this way?

    I want to give iOS a try.

    So, I am a hardcore Andoid user. I never used iOS or MacOS before. I love Android and Windows, but i want to give iOS and iPadOS a try. More and more, some features seem more eppealing to me, like Reminders, ECG or AirDrop.

    1. What are your favourite features from iOS (that arent available on Android)?
    2. If you switched from Android and Windows, what did you miss (the most)?
    3. Are there some things that you hate about iOS/iPadOS?

    So, my current setup: Surface Pro X, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy Watch Active2

    What my Apple Setup would look like: iPad Pro, iPhone 11, Apple Watch 5

    Rant - Is it annoying to anyone else that iOS updates the UI in some of the screens after it opens them with placeholder or outdated info?

    This has happened with both my old iPhone 7, and a new 11 Pro, so I know it's not just an old phone issue.

    Examples:

    1. The new notification screen shows "Notification" while it loads the messages or some other placeholder. Seems like a really annoying design choice on Apple's part - I hear a ping, and look at my phone and want to see what it is at a glance. Instead, I have to wait while it loads. Why not just have it just wait until the data is ready?
    2. The suggested/Siri apps is also really annoying and seems to update a half second after the screen comes up, which sometimes means that it changes right as I'm about to tap on one of the icons.

    Just seems like an odd choice, and makes the UI feel really slow. Anybody else?

    Update: Thanks to u/Da-Aaron - The notification center thing is tied to FaceId, I just hadn't noticed it unlocking as I was looking at the cell. Now I'm trying to remember if my iPhone 7 did that with TouchID?
