Posted: 28 Dec 2019 08:15 AM PST Direct App Store link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/zenjournal/id1399816360 Hi, developer here, first post in this sub, hopefully I'm not breaking any rules. :) I've tried two dozen journaling apps, they usually require multiple taps to start typing, searching or even reading your logs. They are often bloated with irrelevant questions and notifications. With ZenJournal, you can: - Open and Type, there is no Step 2. - Type '?' and Search, because there is only one stream. - Double tap to hide with Discreet Mode, which obfuscate your logs as text blocks (i.e.: ░░) so no one can peek. - Pull up to see a 100-day heatmap, so you can reflect and showoff your logs. - Lock your logs with TouchID/FaceID, only if you want. - Auto-toggle dark mode with system theme, inspired by Superhuman. - Backup and Restore as plain JSON files. The 2.0 version was just released on Xmas for iOS. Hope it can help you achieve your New Year Resolutions. Let me know if you have ideas and feedback to improve this app. [link] [comments]
Zipnote | The simplest and fastest note taking experience. (iOS) Posted: 28 Dec 2019 05:30 PM PST Zipnote on the App StoreZipnote is an app that is designed to allow you to take notes as fast as possible. It's as simple as opening the app, typing, and forgetting about it. As soon as you open the app you are already typing and as soon as you finish, your notes are saved automatically, so there is no need to ever worry about your notes getting lost. Have you ever been in a situation where you want to write something down really quick but you can't physically write it down? I've been in this situation a countless amount of times. Usually I resort to just sending a text to myself so I have it written down somewhere. But now there is a dedicated app just for that, and it's much faster than even sending a text to yourself. And as soon as your done with the note you can simply delete it; and it's gone forever. Zipnote also has several other features that could be useful for different situations. You can export your notes into different apps or even share them directly to your contacts. If you're using Zipnote for something more personal, you can even secure your notes with a password. To get the best experience with Zipnote you also have the option to use Face ID / Touch ID as an alternative to your password, so you can keep your notes secure without the cost of more hassle, and you can use the app just as fast. And with Zipnote Pro, there is the option to set up a reminder for your notes, so you will never forget about what is important to you. If you're someone that has a hard time reading text on your phone then Zipnote is also perfect for you. Zipnote has accessibility options that allow you to make the text bolder so it's easier to see, or even just make the text bigger overall. So you can use Zipnote more comfortably. And of course, you can use both of these features simultaneously. Zipnote is the perfect app for any kind of note taking. Although it's designed for quick notes, it can be used for anything, like grocery lists, reminders, school notes, and especially those things that you need to write down in a hurry, like your spouses order for a restaurant. And the best part about things like that is when your done with it you can easily delete it and never see it again. No need to make another note just for things you really don't need, or even send yourself a text. I would really appreciate it if you would try out Zipnote and see what you think. I'd also be very grateful if you would be so kind to leave a rating or review; it really helps me out. You can find Zipnote on the App Store here: https://apps.apple.com/app/zipnote/id1483530734. Apple Trade-In Program Questions Posted: 28 Dec 2019 10:52 AM PST Hey guys, I have a lot... Like, a whole lot of old iPads and iPhones. I haven't inventoried everything, but I'm guessing there are three or four iPhones, four or five iPads, and even an old MacBook Pro. Most of this stuff is at least five years old... and some of it belonged to my late father. I never did go through the whole court process with Apple to get his Apple ID and password recovered, so they've just sat in storage since his passing. Now I'm wondering if I could trade them in... Does anyone know if you have to have the Apple ID and password of the devices that are being traded in? I'm thinking about a new macbook pro and thought these old apple devices might help me stomach the price. Thanks in advance for the help! [link] [comments]
Released my first app, Kidcentric (a child organizer for parents) + Giveaway Posted: 28 Dec 2019 08:54 AM PST Hello everyone, my name is Kyle and I just released my first app named Kidcentric. It's an app that helps parents stay organized and keep track of medical info, achievements, milestones, extracurriculars, etc. I spent around 5 months developing this app mainly as a side project that I worked on after I came home from school and during the latter part of summer break. I would truly appreciate any feedback on how I could improve the app. I would also be happy to try my best to answer any technical questions or questions about getting into iOS development. I am also giving away 5 promo codes for the premium in app purchase just comment to enter. Thank you very much! Posted: 28 Dec 2019 03:37 AM PST Today it's time to show you the next generation of my iOS/iPadOS/macOS app: Planny 3 – The Smart To Do List. The app was featured multiple times by Apple as "App Of The Day" and in categories like "Apps We Love". What is Planny? Planny is your new friend helping you to be more productive. Planny learned everything important from common to do list apps but combines them with intelligence and gamification. In the morning and during the day Planny intelligently recommends tasks and also reminds you if you tend to forget them. You earn productivity points for adding and completing tasks, and also lose them if you shift tasks or forget them. Users can compare their productivity with friends over the week. Planny also features all the important features for task management. Download Planny 3 for iOS/iPadOS How it works Basically you start your day by opening the app and planning your new day. You get a list of suggestions for your day and select all the tasks you want to work on. Then it's up to you to complete as many tasks as possible. You earn productivity points for completed tasks. If you delay tasks you lose points. After each day you get a review of your productivity and can start the next day. Besides that, Planny supports multiple lists, subtasks, (location based) reminders, photo attachments, drawings, scans, routines and much more! The Story of Planny I noticed that many of my college students had issues with task management. Most of them didn't use an app and the people who did actually wrote everything down and forgot their tasks over time. When I learned Swift I had the idea of an app that helps people to be more productive by combining all the great features that iOS offers. Over time Planny learned everything that's important from common to do list apps but combined them with intelligence, gamification and the amazing Apple ecosystem to help you being more productive. Used Apple Technologies
Be sure to let your friends & family know about Planny and share the app with anyone who might be interested. If you have any questions, suggestions, just let me know. You can also contact me via email. I'm happy to hear from you! [link] [comments]
