Just as an update to my previous post about the $35 official charge stand on eBay, wanted to let y’all know it came in and it’s a genuine product. I think it’s older because watch on the box looks like a series 1-3 but it works just fine and looks great! Well worth $35

I've the series 4 44mm aluminium in black. I'm wondering are there any good 3rd party steel bracelets alternatives to apples because I can't afford that one. Preferably one that matches well with the aluminium case on sport edition. Thanks

I used to snark at people who flashed their apple watches, but after toying around with a friend's watch; decided to got out and get myself my very first smart watch - the series 5.

Spent a long time looking all cases / straps, was pretty settled on the titanium + leather look, but a last minute random config took my breath away. Not a combo I've seen before, but it's a config that retains a high end watch look, while keeping it understated and modern at the same time.

Loving my new series 5 and I want to use Siri's integration more on it especially the raise to speak and activate Siri feature but it legit only works about 1/6 times making it pretty useless and I was just wondering if anyone else experiences this issue

Title.

I bought a second hand SS watch S4 in mint condition, with AppleCare+, for a great price.

The only small issue I'm noticing is that it seems to eat up more battery than my GPS only model which I replaced because it was stolen. :(

After 7-8 hours of regular use my battery is already at 55%, and I remember my GPS could last longer than this, being at 35-40% at night, around 10 PM, when I got home, after workouts, listening to music, and stuff.

Because of this, I was wondering if having an LTE model with no data plan at all, still uses more battery than using a regular GPS watch, or if the battery is just a bit worn and lasts shorter. I plan on adding a data plan later on but not right now, and this battery thing worries me a bit.

I'm also not sure if there's a way to check the battery health % on a Watch to see if it's time to get it replaced.

PS: If I decided to have my battery replaced, would I have to ship the Watch out and stay without one for a few days? Like any other repair?

Hey i am looking to upgrade my AW and i definitelt want a SS model. I know of the major differences between S5 and S4 and i wanted to see some personal opinions on whether you guys would rather buy a mint condition S4 after market for $700 OR a S5 for from the apple store for ~$1200

Sort of interested in buying a series 5 now, but So it would be 5-6 months before I could upgrade my phone.

Does this even make sense? What series 5 features would I lose while using it with the 6 plus?

Broke my Apple watch display

Okay so to start things off, I'm an idiot who broke his AW S5 after purchasing it a week ago. I cracked the display by dropping it on tile one day before my screen protector and case were supposed to be coming in the mail. Now I'm wondering if I could cheat the system by getting Apple Care after the fact or if I'm just going to have to bite the bullet by dropping a few bills on getting it repaired by Apple. Any information regarding the best next course of action I should take would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Thank you all for the quick replies. I just purchased a year of apple care. I can see that the purchase went through on my card so now I guess I should wait a few days before calling them to get it repaired. Hopefully things go as expected but I'm still nervous

Also for extra clarification the cracks aren't too terrible and the display still turns on with no problem

I upgraded from Series 1 42mm to the Series 5 40mm and I'm loving it! I also just learned you could turn off the AOD and after having it off for a few days I realized the less I used it. Time to turn it back on!

What data is lost disabling Wrist Detection?

The fact the the watch muted the phones sounds is driving me crazy. It might work great in a quiet environment but I am outside most of the time.

I am constantly missing texts and calls.

The only work around is disabling Wrist Detection. The watch warns against doing this. Says you loos the ability to use Apple Pay (I don't use) and some data collected might not be as accurate.

The data is what I love most! I don't want to disable the main reason for me using the watch
