AOD is super useful at the urinal. Posted: 19 Oct 2019 12:26 AM PDT You can check the time while holding your junk with both hands, maintaining full control of your pee trajectory. Before if I feel like checking the time, I have to do the awkward rotating arm motion, plus having to hold your junk with one hand only. For anyone who is super iffy about the battery life on the Series 5 Posted: 18 Oct 2019 08:45 PM PDT I charged it yesterday at 12pm. Took it off the charger at 3pm. Did my regular routine throughout the day, and went to bed with it at 55-65% roughly. Woke up, took it off to go shower and stuff, wore it to work with the battery being at 49%. After an 8.5 hour shift, my battery was at 3% WITH AOD on. My standby time was a total of 29-30 hours before I put it onto the charger. I have the Series 5 40mm with Watch OS 6.0.1. Carplay and AW Maps Notifications Posted: 19 Oct 2019 08:18 AM PDT I have a X and AW4 running at 13.1.3 & 6.0.1. I recently got a car with carplay and I've been testing apple maps to see if its gotten better. What annoys me is I get that vibrating notification on my wrist for every turn I make even though I already turned off all(turn alerts) notifications for maps in the watch app. Is this a known bug for the current softwares? I love the look of naked AW but need something thin and will deflect enough to prevent a screen cracking again. Finally thinking of buying an Apple Watch but have a few questions Posted: 19 Oct 2019 03:33 AM PDT I've waited a while to purchase an Apple Watch but the Series 5 has really tempted me. Although I have a few questions. 1) I'm thinking of buying a 40mm Cellular Series 5. I've read a few posts about poor battery life. Does anyone with the 40mm cellular Series 5 have any comments on this along with their usage? I like the idea of wearing my phone to bed to track my sleep but I'm not sure if this will let me wear it all day at work the following day. 2) Cellular users do you find yourself leaving your phone at home and just heading out with your watch? I mountain bike and I usually go solo which means I always take my phone with me but it would be nice to be able to leave the phone at home or in my car and just have the watch in case of a bad crash. 3) I'm tempted to get Apple Care. I never buy any form of insurance or care products for my tech but as I mentioned above I'd be wearing my watch whilst mountain biking so the risk of smashing a screen is definitely there. To anyone who has had a replacement screen from Apple how much did it cost you to get it repaired? 4) This question is absolutely opinion based but do you regret buying your Apple Watch? It's something I think I would absolutely use everyday but at the same time I can't think why I would actively use it. I was worried about how dim my S5 screen is indoors. Posted: 18 Oct 2019 10:32 PM PDT Realized that the brightness ramps up as it sees more light. I guess it has an auto brightness mode built in that can't be turned off. Was really worried about it being in direct sunlight. This is actually great for bed! I don't have to worry about that blinding screen or enabling theater mode then forgetting to turn it off or just the hassle of doing it in the first place. Screen protectors are great for places with hard water! Posted: 19 Oct 2019 05:13 AM PDT I've worn cheap digital Casios and mechanicals over the years and never thought of sticking sceen protectors on them. Even if I'm really careful while washing my hands, handling water, etc. After a year or 2, the crytal ends up full of annoying water stains that I can't get rid of so I have to get a new wATCH.
