Add my family's calendars w/o ios treating them as my own? Posted: 23 Oct 2019 10:54 PM PDT My wife and kids each have their own google calendar. I want to be able to view those calendars on my iphone when needed, but I don't want iOS to treat those calendars as if they were mine. For example, I don't want to get notifications when my wife has an appointment coming up, or when my kid has a club meeting after school. And when siri or other apps check for what's next on my calendar, I only want them to reference MY calendar, not the others. Is there a way to add calendars to view without it treating them as your own? Worst case, I guess I could remove the family calendars from the iOS calendar app and just use the google calendar app when I want to view theirs, but I'd prefer to have them all in the native app if it can treat them the way I want. submitted by /u/NeighborGeek [link] [comments]

Ever since iOS 13 issues. Select All missing, keyboard sensitivity. Posted: 23 Oct 2019 09:02 PM PDT Ever since I upgraded to 13 I've notice a few things that just don't work like they used to. "Select all" When selecting text to copy "select all" as an option has gone away. I assumed it just went away but I was looking in to it online and found a Write up on iOS gadget hacks that says its still there but it doesn't work. It also showed a triple and quadruple tap. That sort of works on the iPad but not on the phone. The other issues is screen sensitivity. I've never had great typing skills but on a phone I could ramble on and most of what I wrote came out ok. Since the upgrade it's like I'm typing blindfolded and it seems like the dictionary of at least where it could guess what it thinks I'm trying to say has gone down the toilet. I mean if I had a word I was unsure of the spelling I would take a best guess and usually it would throw out the correct word in the suggestion box. And now it's just says fuck it. The An example of the spelling issue. Nine times out of ten I'll type the word (in) and end up with (i. N). Just like that. A small i a period then a return and a capital N on the next line Space bar not sensitive, during typing I'll hit the space bar and nothing so I getlongwordsthatmakeno sense. Dead spots on screen. Like post button. I'll have to hit 3-4 times before getting a reaction. Tap the screen 3-4 times and to get the cursor any where close to what I'm aiming for. Can’t change my contacts country code Posted: 23 Oct 2019 06:59 PM PDT Hello everyone, I have an iPhone 11 and all my contacts are located on the gmail contacts app helper. The problem, the gmail contacts app and the iPhone were initially set up with Portuguese as the default country code. Now, I'm living in the US and I would like to change the default country code, so that when I call my old contacts the phone automatically adds the +351 prefix to the call. How can I do this? Phone and messages vibrations broken on iOS 13? Posted: 23 Oct 2019 05:23 PM PDT When I get a phone call the vibration is extremely gentle, and when I get a text there is no vibration at all. Sometimes a restart fixes it temporarily but it doesn't last. I see some others online having this issue, is there a fix at all?
