Posted: 21 Sep 2019 02:33 PM PDT I know some of you, like me, are torned between upgrading or not upgrading to the iPhone 11 Pro coming from an iPhone X and today, after reading/watching many reviews I've decided to buy an IPhone 11 Pro to test myself and I will share my experience and little things I would have liked to know before buying! I hope you will find this useful and please be kind with me, English is not my native language 😅 • Although there are only 14 g of difference, I can definitely tell in my hand that the iPhone Pro is heavier, and I honestly think the iPhone X isn't a feather weight • Both the volume and power buttons on the Pro are harder to click and give in my opinion a better feedback • The back frosted glass touch and feel is reeeeally good, and coming from the fingerprint magnet of the iPhone X the experience is yet better • It's almost impossible to notice differences between the screens of both devices putting them on side by side. Aside from technical sheets and numbers, max brightness to my eyes is the same on both, if there is a difference it isn't noticeable at least to me • Performance wise there aren't noticeable differences, but the overall experience is slightly better on the iPhone pro, sometimes animations are smoother and there are less hiccups.During a normal use (Facebook, safari, Reddit, Instagram ecc) it also get less warm compared to the iPhone X • Gps accuracy wasn't the best on iPhone X and unfortunately it's the same on the IPhone Pro, I recently had also a Google pixel and I must say it was a lot more accurate • Cellular signal strength it's the same, very good on both • I was really impressed by the quality of the sound coming from the speakers of the 11 pro, both loudness and clarity have been improved • The lack of 3D Touch is a pain in the ass!! You will get used to it with time, but Haptic touch is much slower and writing/editing a text without 3D Touch is definitely a step back • Battery performance is, as expected, better on the IPhone Pro but I didn't test it really well so I will upgrade this post in a couple of days to be more accurate • Last but not least, camera performance!! As expected the 11 pro is better in any situation but honestly I was expecting something more, there isn't a lot of difference in some situations like indoor shots and selfie. Night mode is really good, of course there is no comparison vs the iPhone X (little note...in my opinion, google pixel is still ahead) As you may have noticed I'm not really impressed from the iPhone 11 pro and I will return the device soon. Certainly there are little improvements in any field but, at the end of the day, are they worth to me 700€ (selling my iPhone X) ? Absolutely not, I will wait next year to spend those bucks 😂 [link] [comments]  | ||

Honestly there is something about the body of it, the build, that just, man I really really like. But holding my X against hers I can easily tell the OLED Vs the LCD. Do you guys think you'll stick with the X? I love this phone. Was thinking of getting a white silicon case for the X and with iOS 13 and dark mode it does feel new. Thoughts? [link] [comments]  | ||
| Swipe up to home screen unresponsive. Posted: 21 Sep 2019 04:04 PM PDT I upgraded to OS13 this morning and now I am unable to swipe up from the bottom to return to the home screen. The little bar at the bottom moves a tad, but nothing happens, prompting a restart. This also happens in landscape mode as well so I don't think it's a display issue. Everything else works fine, buttons at the same level as the menu bar work fine, I can't just use the swipe up to return to the home screen, and am stuck on whatever app I am using. I have already peformed a hard reset. Any ideas? [link] [comments]  | ||
