Basically I have really bad OCD and one of my issues is that I need to constantly check things such as my social media and email and screenshot them to make sure everything looks OK. I know it's strange but it's a problem I've had for a long time now. So now I have 30 thousand random screenshots on my camera roll and my 64 gb iPhone 8+ is out of storage (I am already paying for 200 gb iCloud storage per month and that's out too, I am not paying to upgrade it to 2 TB) so what I did was I went to the "screenshot" album in my camera roll, pressed "select all," and then "delete all." There's literally nothing of importance on there at all so I don't care if those photos are gone forever. Now my phone is like frozen and it still has all the pictures selected but they haven't deleted yet. What should I do? Should I just wait until they delete or did I fuck up bad? Thanks everyone! | Posted: 22 Sep 2019 05:37 PM PDT i set my phone (6s) on a sink rim & it immediately slipped and fell onto a damp bar of soap, lodging a bit in the speakers. the sound is canny/warbly & lightly scrubbing it with a toothbrush didnt help, just cleaned the exterior. nothing got deep enough to cause damage to other components as the soap was just a clay consistency not watery so im just concerned abt the sound quality. is there anything i can do or should i send it to an apple store? thx in advance for any advice [link] [comments]  |

| iPhone 6plus intermittent screen functionality Posted: 22 Sep 2019 10:14 AM PDT For some reasons my phone (no cracks on screen or obvious damage) it's been in a case the whole time I have had it, other than to clean it and recently the screen doesn't respond to touch or any sort of on screen interaction, all other buttons(home, volume, power) respond immediately and properly but touch stops working. | iMessage Location Notification Posted: 22 Sep 2019 10:13 AM PDT Both my Wife and I have iPhone 7+ 12.4.1. Over the last few days iMessage has begun showing the following notification when deleting an iMessage form my wife's number. "Would you like to stop sharing your location with the participants in this conversation? Yes / No" It appears only when deleting iMessages from my wife's number and the same notification on her phone if deleting an iMessage from my number. We do share location for Find Phone and have always so I am at a loss as to why this would suddenly appear. I have spoken w/ Apple Support and Communities with no luck. Apple informs me it "may" be part of 12.4.1 but can not confirm. Wondering if others have experienced this or am I missing a simple setting. | Photos & Videos Vanished - need help!! Posted: 22 Sep 2019 07:27 AM PDT greetings reddit! like the title suggests, some of my files are missing from my phone and macbook. i didn't delete them and i have restarted my phone, checked the recently deleted album - no luck. it says my last back-up was on the 16th, so i should have the files i lost as they were all taken before then, but there's nothing . my accounts were/are all synced and i can't think of anything i did. i literally just opened my gallery a few days ago and was greeted by a shit ton of my files missing, and in the first area of my gallery were all old photos/videos taken months and years ago. i do have some photos from a few days ago but they're mostly all screenshots. i don't know what to do and i'm basically an absolute mess right now since a lot of those pics/vids were extremely important to me as i had footage of now deceased loved ones, extremely special moments etc. all just gone. when i first realized stuff on my phone disappeared i immediately went to check on my mac and the pics and vids were there, but now they are not. i had over 2000+ videos, and now my phone tells me i have 239. i was having storage issues, but nothing worse than i'd already dealt with and nothing happened. i've just upgraded my storage plan as well thinking maybe that would bring them back somehow, but it didnt. i've been thru some major shit in the past few years and i haven't been able to do much and now i have apparently lost all of the evidence/memories of the rare good moments i have had. i know it sounds overdramatic and that theyre just files, but my memory sucks so most of those were all i had. i didnt expect to lose anything since it'd been backed up, so i never sent them to anyone/other apps. sorry if this doesn't make sense, i'm beyond sleep deprived and have been up for the past two days googling and trying to fix it. if anyone has ANY advice or ideas i would appreciate it more than you know. The problem is emails are not automatically coming in although I have "Push" set up. What else can I try? To get new emails I have to open the Mail app and then it manually checks. | Recovering some data with iPhone passcode ? Posted: 22 Sep 2019 06:10 AM PDT A couple days ago I forgot my password, and after 10 attempts it was disabled. I had to factory reset it. When I opened my phone it kept giving me the option to type in my old password to recover some things, but at the time I still didn't remember. I remember now, but that option doesn't pop up randomly anymore. Where would I find that option? [link] [comments]  |

I hard restarted it, I put it in DFU mode and restored it, nothing worked. Whenever I turn on my phone it goes right back into the boot loop. Is there anything else I can do to fix my phone??
