    [Discussion] Unc0ver A12-A12X iOS 12.4 bug/issues thread

    I have seen a few threads bringing up issues with the latest version of Unc0ver for A12-A12X devices running iOS 12.4. (3.7.0~b1)

    Might be a good idea to keep all the bugs/issues into one thread to keep track of everything.

    Issues that I have encountered while using the latest version of u0:

    • Camera will stop working. Camera preview will be black and taking pictures does not work. The happened in the stock photos app and Snapchat. A reboot fixed the issue.

    • GPS no longer works. Stock Weather and Map apps can not get current location. Seen other reports of Google Maps not being able to get current location as well

    • FaceID locked apps are no longer able to use FaceID thus making the apps impossible to open.

    • Username & password autofill no longer works. This is probably because of the FaceID issue. (Ex. LastPass & iCloud Keychain)

    Edit:

    • Adding new sources will sometimes hang forcing me to press cancel and then refresh the sources list for the new source to populate.

    Edit II:

    • Rebooting/shutting down takes an extremely long time. Have to force reboot.

    • Safari tweak injection is broken/missing

    [News] Unc0ver 3.7 has disabled code injection for Safari, breaking all Safari related tweaks (only on substitute)

    For users wondering why Safari Plus or other Safari tweaks are not working on A12(X) devices running unc0ver, this is why.

    There appears to be a complex issue with code injection into Safari inside the substitute environment of unc0ver, this is why code injection was disabled inside Safari for now. Until the root issue is fixed and code injection is reenabled, no Safari related tweaks will work.

    The unc0ver team is aware of this issue, so it will hopefully be fixed in a future update.

    Please avoid contacting me about this problem, it is entirely out of my control. Also avoid contacting any other dev about this.

    [Question] Camera not working on iPhone XS Max iOS 12.1.1 with unc0ver

    Tested on Snapchat and camera app and both are not working. Rebooting fixes it but then when I jailbreak again it doesn't work. Any help?

    [Discussion]Apps with faceID login not letting me log in with FaceID on latest unc0ver a12

    Noticed when I was trying to login to PayPal to check if it still had jailbreak detection it didn't let me use FaceID. I tried LA Wallet which has FaceID login and it also didn't work. They both required me to manually type my password. Anyone else getting this issue?

    Every single tweak has been getting this issue. Ive removed and reinstalled PreferenceLoder Cephia (spelling probably wrong) RocketBootstrap, Ive reinstalled my unc0ver jb (also that fixed the camera issue for anyone who has that issue still)

    Any help on this?
