I can confirm they are, through steam-link anyways. Does “Match Content” benefit an old 1080p TV? Posted: 21 Sep 2019 06:43 PM PDT It seems like they should both be on if you have 4K. Apple TV 4k takes almost 10mins to start up. Posted: 21 Sep 2019 06:40 AM PDT Called Apple Support and they has us do a factory reset. Same issue. After about 5mins of nothing, it will display the screen saver, and that will go blank and back on several times for a couple more minutes until you're finally able to use it. Once it's "warm" you can manually put it to sleep, and bring it right back up with no issue. It only does this after it's been asleep overnight. I'm thinking we just need to have it replaced, but wanted to check to see if anyone else has had the same issue, before taking action. submitted by /u/mixx2001 [link] [comments]

How do I watch files from a hard drive on Apple TV using VLC? Screen mirror AppleTV to iPad via Airplay 2? Posted: 21 Sep 2019 09:40 AM PDT I'm streaming football on the AppleTV 4k using YouTubeTV. I'm on delay and often skipping commercials, etc. My TV is close enough to the kitchen to hear the audio, but not to see the screen. Programs opening in correct App? Posted: 21 Sep 2019 12:38 PM PDT There may be an easy fix to this, but I haven't found this yet. We subscribe to several different services but enjoy using the AppleTV app as a single launching point to open the correct program if possible. For instance, I subscribe to MLB.TV and have the app - have my home team set up as a favorite. MLB has blackout through their app (frustrating but understandable) but AppleTV only lets the games launch through the app that I have the blackout in. I can watch on FoxSports Go app no issue, but can't get the games to open directly from the main game screen. Another example - we have Hulu but a game will come on CBS or Fox - I can open up the Hulu app and find the game, but can't pull in the game directly from the main Sports AppleTV screen.
