- Why does my iPhone 11 Pro show a darker more juicy picture quality before I select it. The moment I choose it and go to my home screen the background is much brighter then in the selection screen. Left photo is home screen, right photo is the wallpaper selection screen. The right is far better

| Are you kidding me Apple? 3Dtouch Posted: 29 Sep 2019 05:20 PM PDT Just a few weeks back my wife and I went and upgraded to XRs from 7+. I had it for a week or so and decided I couldn't live without the 3D Touch, so I went and returned the XR and got the XS Max. I happily upgraded to IOS 13 and lo and behold - 3D Touch is now CRIPPLED. What the F? Seriously. It was the most satisfying thing to be able to slowwwwwly open articles and make them get larger. It was also satisfying closing comment threads on reddit with a hard press. It's "still there". But sucks. It's basically the horrible haptic touch. | iOS 13 made my iCloud backups useless and now can't restore Posted: 30 Sep 2019 04:29 AM PDT Has anyone else reported this? tl;dr: since updating to iOS 13 (and eventually 13.1.1) my iPhone boot loops after restoring from an iCloud backup. I have an iPhone XS Max 256GB, and I was on the latest iOS 12 before updating. Updated to iOS 13 early last week and I really wish I didn't. The update seemed to complete successfully until it started boot looping. I force rebooted to restore via iTunes: - Update option failed to work - iTunes didn't say so, but the phone was boot looping again - Restore option worked After the initial setup I attempted restoring from my latest iCloud backup, which seemed to work well for several hours (about half a day), as I was using my phone normally, but at the point of almost finishing the sync of all my apps and settings, it started boot looping again. I eventually tried this same thing another couple of times with the same result, and yesterday I got excited when I read on the latest iOS 13.1.1 release notes:
I updated to no avail - after several hours of iCloud restore my phone started BLoDing again, so I've now had to wipe it all and re-download/re-set everything from scratch with iCloud backups turned off in order to be sure that I don't rewrite my previous backups. This is especially aggravating since I'm paying for a 200GB iCloud tier and I relied on it for my backups - I have no recent iTunes backups handy. Have I lost everything? What should be my next step? | Posted: 30 Sep 2019 12:30 AM PDT Since IOS 13 when I set a reminder to remind me on da specific date/time I don't get a notification like with IOS 12. Also the App don't have the red circle with the overdue tasks count. In settings there is no possibility to change notification settings. Have somebody else encountered this? And maybe know how to fix it. Without this functionality the app is useless as if I forget a task I also forget to look into the app... [link] [comments]  | ||

| iOS 13.1.1 Text and Call notifications not working Posted: 30 Sep 2019 07:34 AM PDT I updated to the 11 last week but even before then, my phone was not receiving text notifications or phone calls properly. After resetting the phone, it works for 10 mins or so then nothing. I am thinking there is something wrong with the Bluetooth on the phone causing this bug but still trying to figure it out. Anyone else having problems receiving text and call notifications from locked screen? The little red numbers will show up for texts but no ding or vibration when they've came through. Super frustrating to miss texts and calls and having to reset the phone every 10 mins. I need Bluetooth for connecting to my car as it is the key for the Tesla. [link] [comments]  | ||
