    TV OS 13 5.1

    After updating to OS 13 Netflix stopped playing shows and movies in 5.1 surround, they downgrade to stereo. Trailers play in surround, but when you start a show it plays stereo. Tested with the Netflix app in my tv and a Xbox one and 5.1 plays fine. Anyone else experience this?

    tvOS13 macOS Catalina shared media library in Music App on tvOS

    yes i've searched. *edit*: yes home sharing is on and my library is available in the ATV Computers App.

    My music and other media is available under the Computers app on the Apple TV but i thought (and probably am wrong) that in previous tvOS releases that in iTunes on tvOS that my shared library was available in iTunes on the ATV ??

    If so, how do i get my shared music library into the tvOS 13 Apple Music's Library tab along with my iTunes music purchases ?? It seems like a no brainer to have that in there as well instead of opening up the clunky Computers App on ATV.

    Apple TV 4K audio but no video

    For apps like HBOGo, Netflix, Hulu the screen will just be black with only audio playing. However, when I'm on ESPN or YouTube it works just fine. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    I have already updated to 13.0 and changed the HDMI cord.

    Youtube app turns disliked vids into liked ones

    This started after I had updated Apple TV 4th gen to the latest TVOS. Whenever I dislike a vid it shows up in history as a like. Wtf is going on?? I don't need another soulless retarded lifestyle vlogger giving me life/motivational lesson. Ef you human waste.

    I have the Sony XBR75X900E paired with Apple 4K TV using Apple's own Belkin 8K HDMI cable. I even tried the Monoprice 8K 48Gbps HDMI cables as well. But when I set it to 4K HDR 60 setting or if I play anything in 4K (for ex: Netflix), the video comes out dull (the opposite of what one would expect from an HDR setting). I have changed the input modes to extended on the Sony TV. I am sure I am missing some other setting. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

    There isn't a way to have an Apple TV play dts forms of audio is there? Maybe jailbreaking? I hate having to convert my films from dts to aac or ac3 just to watch it

    twitchy trouble

    Hi. i'm wondering if anyone else is having trouble with twitchy? i cant go normally on the app, i can watch the streams it shows on top as preview on top, but i cant go on the app it self. i just loads and loads and get no connection after a while.

    I tried reinstall and check for updates and all that but nothing works. hoping maybe someone have a solution?

    Freezing and unresponsive

    My Apple TV freezes when trying to open any app it then tries to open the app and closes immediately, this happens with every app I can't even go to settings to see if there is a problem, I have tried unplugging everything for a bit and the force restart on the remote and nothing seems to help, anyone know what I can do? Thanks

    Lost your remote? Suggestions on finding it!

    I know everyone has lost their remote at one time or another. I wonder why Apple doesn't add a small speaker to "play sound" from phone, but I digress....

    What are some suggestions for finding your remote?

    Hopefully something that isn't "tape it to big object and boom!"

    Is there anything small and cheap that you could press a button and something would beep? I'm thinking like a toy. Something that just uses radio waves or something?

    Xbox One vs PS4 Controller for Apple TV?

    Are there any functional or performance differences between the Xbox and PS controllers on Apple TV?

    We don't own either consoles but are planning to pick up some controllers for use with the Apple TV and are trying to decide between the two. Ergonomic differences are obviously personal preference but curious if there are functional / features differences that related to the Apple TV / iOS devices.

    Can’t access purchased content in the Apple TV library

    Since updating to 13, my Library in The Apple TV app shows "you haven't purchased any movies or TV shows (I've purchased thousands over the years). Spent nearly 3 hours with 5 different people at Apple Support as they repeatedly confirmed the error. A workaround until they fix it is to go into either the TV iTunes Or Movie iTunes apps and go into Purchased.

    But it also means nothing I watch via that path appears in Up Next. This update is a mess...
