• I'm not able to install the Catalina Public Beta even after installing the Public Beta Utility. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the profile and even rebooting my Mac. Nothing worked. I'm using a MacBook Air 13 inch (Early 2015), which is a supported device.
• Clean Install, iCloud Drive data
• Shutdown cause -128 @ night
• Dictionaries in Mojave gone ? I upgraded from High Sierra to Mojave last night
• Sold my MacBook. Buyer having problems

Clean Install, iCloud Drive data Posted: 03 Aug 2019 02:01 AM PDT Hi, I want to clean install Mojave on to a new SSD. I have a full backup with time Machine. I also have about 500gb in iCloud Drive. After the clean install, can I restore the 500gb in to the iCloud Drive folder easily rather than downloading the 500gb which seems pointless. Shutdown cause -128 @ night Posted: 02 Aug 2019 01:56 PM PDT After 2 years I decided to get back to macOS last month and bought a MacBook Air 7,2 (before I used MBA 6,1). The problem is that I noticed that it reboots around 5-6AM (or maybe at night, hard to tell, because I just hear the boot sound which wakes me up for a moment) and then shuts down. After that I open my MacBook and it restarts two times before getting to login screen. I checked previous shutdown causes and it has number "-128". Got EtreCheck, but nothing interesting came up. I made a clean install and it helped for a bit, but the problem returned. I noticed that if I'm on battery the problem will more likely occur. I'm wondering if it's well... not quite legal apps I have installed causing it (Lightroom, iStats), hardware issues or maybe other app causing it. And I wonder if installing Catalina beta would help. So I sold my MacBook recently and now the buyer wants to return it because Disk Utility isn't showing him a destination disk to install MacOS to. I erased the disk exactly how Apple said to on their website. Can anyone please help? I really do not want him to return it. Thanks! The processes from Hell, sorry, the LDAP just conspire and launch attacks to take my passwords and boot me 24/7 and it's rendered my computer abilities to work with anything for 8 months straight. I've done everything you can think of countless times and it just won't stop. My brand new out the box iMac 2019 powered up and went for a 4 way handshake just before it grabbed up my credentials and cut the display off. It's at the point where questioning my judgement on what I'm describing is going to make you look stupid and paranoid way before me and honestly questioning the validity of the case is a step in the wrong direction if you intend to offer any insight. The sh*t is possessed and as a Mac owner and power user for over 10 years I'm confused.. The computers to me are just zombies and only concerened with getting theirs. They want me signed into icloud and using all the system apps, or at least they won't stop bugging me until I signed into everything that Tim Cook brags about and opened all the Virtual features I possibly can and then it's done with me. I get the boot. Lord knows what for. Its dumb because it does seem to learn as I learn but it hasn't learned that we're rebooting every time I'm in the corner so this crusade is idiotic. As of late I get the most information troubleshooting as if I had a Hackintosh Machine on a VirtualBox or VMWare... All my fixes are like I have to get as if i don't have a real mac. I'm in the Terminal the entire time going head to head with DuetSchedulerd,, CoreAudiod, CFNetworkd, APFSd, Bird, Student, IMRemote, ViewBridgeAux, and you know... Kernel Sandbox and the rest of the idiots at Apple... Apple couldn't give a damn, I've called and gone in a 100 times.. Cognitive Dissonance... Told me call the FBI and number of times... FBI hung up on me... It's sucks though.. At a loss... Can't see how to get away from it. Can't walk away, it's in everything, it follows me... It's in my wife and kid's devices as well ya know.. Full camera and speaker usage, screen grabs, Arbitration and it's in plain site with logs and data Apple has seen... It's insane... I do see most people have fractions of these issues, but I have everything Malicious, Vulverable and Exploited and Rooted into into one Kit... What's going on? PS.. BTW I'm not posting screenshots or logs because the processes are hidden and it's counter productive listening to assholes say, "everything looks normal" like they're on Tim Cook's payroll.. I hate those people they are ruining Mac User's lives and and don't even know how much agony they are putting people though by making them put up with abuse from the computers since 2011.... Actually I'll post a pic.. I'm a designer and photographer and this has kept me out of work all year...
